Before getting an answer, people were already calling for forming a team to fetch her. Some even argued about where to pick her up from. Greeting at the school gates seemed too insincere; at the very least, they should go beyond the Capital Star, or even better, out of the Capital Star System.
“Quiet, listen to me,” Nolan, who couldn’t wait to share the news from his brother, finally spoke loudly once everyone settled down, “She hasn’t returned yet, currently its location is classified for security reasons and won’t be disclosed publicly.”
Everyone understood the confidentiality, but it still seemed a bit much.
Nolan shrugged helplessly, “Apparently, she’s at the Empire’s border near the Laniakea Battlefield, but I don’t know the exact place. Anyway, she’s safe, so everyone can stop worrying.”
“That’s good.”
After the freshman contest, departments that were originally tense with the Land War Academy had now become harmonious. During meals, everyone would tacitly gather in Canteen 003, third floor buffet, discussing when Lin Fu might return.
Yet, although the classmates were the same, things had changed drastically; the same restaurant, yet some faces were no longer there.
