The devil asked his servant about Emmelyn to check if the girl had had dinner. He was surprised to hear that she was caught trying to escape her room by climbing down from her window, thirty meters from the ground, and was now being kept in the small dining room with five guards keeping an eye on her closely.
"She tried to escape? How?"
"Uhmm.. she used her bedsheets to make rope and climbed down from her window when it was already dark. She almost got away..."
"Oh..." The devil pressed his temple. This sharp-tongued woman seemed like she didn't plan to keep her words. He must teach her a lesson. She already made a deal with the devil and must know that he was not someone to mess with.
