Hao Xuan who wanted to check for it himself faltered upon seeing her looking in his direction with quite the intensity.
"Can I get some privacy?"
"No, do it now or I will," she said while making a fist.
Without any other choice, Hao Xuan took of his clothes one by one while she watched. He had never felt such embarrassment and it was his first time doing something like this in the presence of a female which made it worse.
She leaned in and inspected every nook and cranny in detail, finally finding the mark at the very end. It was...at the sole of his right foot. He didn't 'need' to take of anything other than his shoes, which were the last items he took off.
Hao Xuan wanted to cry, in fact, he almost did. As soon as she was done making a sketch of the mark, he covered himself with one of the many animal hides on the bed, sitting as far away from her as he possibly could.
"You....you animal!" he cried holding back tears but his words fell on deaf ears.
The Princess was already busy writing something in one of the scrolls. A moment later she turned back around, giving Hao Xuan another scare.
"I have never seen such a mark before," she said holding up the paper. The marking was a drawing of a planetary system.
With a confused look she mumbled, "What...are you?"
Hao Xuan gritted his teeth so hard that she could hear it from across the room, "A man that is being abused and held hostage for no god damn reason. That's who I am!"
Princess Na'im's lips slowly arched into half a smile, "You think this is abuse?"
A chill ran down Hao Xuan's back and he instantly shut up, but his inner thoughts were far from innocent.
'This crazy bitch, just you fucking wait!'
Hao Xuan had already tried to summon the Scorpion King numerous times but there was no reaction whatsoever. It felt like he was knocking on a stone wall.
Hao Xuan felt like he was stuck in a weird sex dream, just without the good parts. One would think being told to get naked by a beautiful female would be every man's dream but for Hao Xuan it had become a nightmare.
After writing a few other things down she got up and walked over to the square cauldron that was filled to the brim with a bubbling yellow liquid and jumped in before taking off everything.
Hao Xuan looked away, not wanting to give her any excuse to mess with him again.
She soaked in it for almost a full hour before finally leaving. She put on a loose brown robe and walked over to the bed, making Hao Xuan jump off.
"The extract still has some value. Use it before it gets cold," she said without even looking at him and covered herself in the largest hide in the bed, using it as a blanket.
Hao Xuan stood there in silence, unsure of what this meant.
"You're not going to lock me up or anything?" he asked hesitantly.
Princess Na'im let out a contemptuous chuckle as if she had heard something ridiculous, "Why would I do that?"
"So...I don't run away?"
She scoffed, "Go ahead and try. If you can escape then I won't follow you."
Hao Xuan obviously did not trust a single word she said and her confidence did bother him, but he wasn't going to just let such an opportunity go to waste.
After making sure she wasn't looking Hao Xuan took out a new set of clean clothes from Baracus's storage space and changed into them before leaving post-haste.
The weird pug creature that had been 'observing' him from the moment it noticed he was there also followed after without making a sound.
