I’m a nervous wreck, and I was beginning to think that this was a bad idea, but it’s too late to back down now.
I sank my teeth into my bottom lip as I eyed the mirror, before looking at the curtains.
Taking a deep breath, I walked through them to find Ares sitting comfortably on the couch. I realized he hadn’t stopped gaping at the curtains, because the instant I stepped out, he already had his eyes on me.
His glass of wine was filled, which meant he hadn’t had a sip.
Was he waiting for me the whole time?
I spent no less than an hour trying to find the one that fits.
"How do I look, honey?" I asked huskily, suddenly confident as his hot eyes travelled to all of me.
The lingerie I wore was in the form of a nightie, made entirely of transparent material, with marabou trim feathering the neckline and hem.
"Blue..." he murmured deeply.
"Does it look good on me?"
"I can’t tell from here."
I walked to him, swaying my hips, and without breaking eye contact, I sat on his lap.
"How about now?"
