"No, no, no!" Mrs. Yu cried at the top of her lungs, but Mingshen had already donned his gloves. He tapped on the tip of the syringe that spilled some droplets of some liquid out.
"This is anesthesia. Don’t worry, You won’t feel a thing," Mingshen smiled.
She gasped in horror and struggled hard but to no avail. "What the hell do you want!? W-we only did what was right for Ehuang!"
He pouted. "You think that not having sex or pleasure is right for her so then why do you get to enjoy the same pleasure? Shouldn’t rules be equal for the mother too? You are also a woman, after all."
She gulped hard.
Mingshen chuckled at her husband. "You didn’t let her go through the same thing because then how else would you enjoy your sex life? The guards had an urge to smack him.

A deep shudder passed through his spine.
"W-what do you want...?" Mrs. Yu asked with a feeble voice, tears wetting the pillow underneath her. "I-I will do anything you want!"
"Oh my, where was this cooperation in the court?"
"P-please, I beg you...I-I will do anything in exchange!"
"Hmm~ how about some answers then?"
"Yes, I will tell you everything!" She was shivering with the syringe’s sight.
Mr. Yu lashed out. "Don’t be foolish!"
She looked at him dumbfounded. "What other choice do we have! D-Do you really want me to go through this horror!?"
Unknown to them, Mingshen’s grip on the syringe had slightly tightened.
"That’s a good girl," Mingshen grinned, the momentary danger vanishing off his gaze. "So let us start with the facts first~ When did Ehuang’s accident happen?"
Silence.
She looked away and so did Mr. Yu.
"Aish, you are already going back on your words," he sighed, "I have no choice but to-"
"No, no! I am telling you! J-just keep that syringe away!"
Mingshen smiled. "Go on."
"Th-there was never an accident..." she bit down on her lower lip.
"So why the whole ordeal?"
"I-I mean she is a g-girl so..."
"Yes, a girl. Representing half of the world’s population. So? What’s your point?"
"Girls D-Don’t deserve to...you know...do shameful things..."
Mingshen stared at her. "You do realize your own gender, right? Or did you have any doubts about your genitalia?"
Mr. Yu choked.
She gritted her teeth. "Of course I know that! And it’s not that I like being a woman! Mingshen’s roar resounded so loudly and lethally as if the entire lab was plunged into darkness. It was sudden. It was abrupt. But somewhere deep within her where her instinct lied, Mrs. Yu realized the danger as she watched Mingshen’s frigid gaze with terror, more so at the syringe trembling in his hand that popped with angry veins.
Outside, the gang who was silently watching Mingshen’s interrogation was left stunned. Jia jolted with his sudden, frightening exclamation. It was clear that she had not expected him to get so agitated.
"That...even scared me for a second," Huojin said.
Taking some deep, long breaths, Mingshen let out a chuckle. "Ah, that was so ungentlemanly of me. But it’s hard to control when people utter pure nonsense. So talk with care because you wouldn’t want me stabbing this syringe right in your eye."
Mr. Yu almost lost his soul. Suddenly, he regretted stubbornly coming here with all his heart.
"Go on."

She forgot what she was talking about. His harsh scream still burst into her ears.
"Go. On," Mingshen gave one last warning.

Mingshen stared at him. "So you mean the surgeries..."

Jia heard them in speechlessness. The cogs of her brain turned, joining the various dots together.
