"They're not in this country?" A middle-aged woman with short brown hair asked with a cold tone in her voice.
Despite her age, the woman was beautiful, and she looked younger than her original age. Her hazel eyes were slightly slanted like a fox's. It enchanting as if there was a fire burning in them. Her delicate brows were knitted together after hearing what her companion said.
The fat middle-aged man that was sitting in front of her nodded, "Yes, both Xia Sinian and Xia Meilin are out of the country. My men weren't able to get any information about the places they went… it was as if they suddenly disappeared from the map."
The woman's gaze darkened and the air in the room became heavy. "They… disappeared?"

"How can that bitch be this lucky?" A dirty blonde-haired woman said through gritted teeth. She was a beautiful woman with long lashes and a small face. What made her more charming was the beauty more that was under her right eye.
"She may be lucky but that won't be for long." The man said calmly as he turned to the woman who was sitting in front of him, "Right, Yong Biqi?"
Yong Biqi stared at her glass of wine for a while before a small smirk appeared on her lips. "It looks like my daughter isn't a foolish one like her father." A subtle laugh was heard from her. "She better not disappoints me."
"Auntie Yong, you promised me that you will destroy Xia Meilin and her family! They need to pay for what they have done with my family!" The blondie exclaimed in anger. "It was because of them that my mother killed herself!"
Yong Biqi was not an impulsive person, she would always plan her moves carefully just like how she plays chess. This was the reason why she gathers as many pawns as possible for her schemes since she knows that the Xia Elders are not easy people like Xia Bolin and her younger sister, Yong Sining.
She calmly took a sip on her glass of wine before she turned to Lin Yiyang and Lin Qingge with a smile on her lips. "Lin Qingge, you still have the video, right?"
Lin Qingge's eyes sparkled when the video was mentioned. "Yes, I still have it. Are we going to use it now?"
"Not yet, my dear." She chuckled softly. "We can't destroy him just by using that video." She turned to Lin Yiyang. "As for your little birds, let them wait for a while, we can't use them yet."
"To bring my beloved daughter out, we need to take care of this Lu Yifeng." She looked at the photo that was on the table, "As for my grandson… he'll be our trump card against Lu Yifeng."

"What? You'll stay there until next month?" Xia Meilin became gloomy after what Lu Yifeng said. "But you said that you'll spend the Christmas here…"
