She wanted to hide because of the embarrassing situation she placed herself in. It was a good thing that Su Lei and Shu Yang didn't say a thing until they reached the mall.
"Mr. Su, let me accompany you. I remember that I have to buy something for my sister." Shu Yang didn't want to be left off with this shameless couple! His single was already feeling so bitter ever since he accompanied Xia Meilin in the police department.

By the time the two assistants returned, they noticed how red Xia Meilin's face was.
Shu Yang and Su Lei didn't say a thing but just by looking at each other, they already had an idea of what happened between the two married couple.
They chose to be quiet the whole time with awkwardness surrounding the two of them.
As soon as Lu Yifeng and Xia Meilin arrived home, they were greeted by Lu Yifeng's mother, Jing Yue.
"Yifeng!" She went and hugged him. She was happy to see that he was fine.

Lu Yifeng stopped from his tracks, "Pills for what?"
"Birth control." She placed her hand on her cheek as she closed her eyes. "You see, a certain someone doesn't like to use a condom. I can't get pregnant again, you know."
He blinks a few times, "Aren't we going to build a whole volleyball team? six for regulars, four for substitutes. Three down, seven more to go."
