"Jiejie, Mr. Qin is your homeroom teacher, right? What kind of person is he?" Lu Xingyan asked curiously. He never became her teacher so she didn't have an idea of what kind of person he was to his students. As far as she knew, the impression he gave her even if he was all smiley and gentle-looking was bad. She could feel something off with the way he smiled.
Lu Weichun blinked a few times as she pondered on why her sister was suddenly asking that question. "Mr. Qin is a nice and kind teacher. He gets along pretty well with students and he teaches History subject for our class."
History subject? Mrs. Yan was the one teaching the subject in Lu Xingyan's class. There were times when Lu Xingyan would approach her to ask a few questions in the faculty room. Now that she thought of it, whenever she visited the faculty room, Qin Bai was always away so she never really noticed that he belonged to the History faculty office.
"Earlier... I can't help but get bad vibes from Mr. Qin." Lu Weichun said, shivering a bit from the goosebumps she felt when she recalled the scene earlier. "I don't know why but I suddenly felt like I was in danger and afraid."
Lu Xingyan stared at her sister for a moment, that was exactly how she felt earlier. "Twintuition maybe?"
"Twintuition? Does that mean that you were the one feeling that way?" The elder twin asked in surprise. "Did he do something to you to make you feel that way?"
"Instincts." Lu Xingyan replied as she turned away from her sister and looked at the plants around them and continued, "Also... Most of the plants here are poisonous."
"Poisonous?" Lu Weichun blinked in confusion, tilting her head a bit to the side. "Won't it be dangerous for students who don't know anything about the plant?"
"Yes. That's why I need to find out what Mr. Qin is really up to." She turned her gaze back to her sister, "We need to be careful around him, Jiejie. Also, don't accept whatever food he's offering. We don't know if it might have poison in it."
"I don't think Mr. Qin will poison his students." Lu Weichun retorted.
"That's why we need to investigate any further. We need to look into this school's history and how long Mr. Qin was here."
Lu Weichun was still a bit hesitant but she trusted her sister more than anyone. She knew how sharp her instincts were and aside from that, what she felt earlier was something she couldn't ignore.
"We must recruit others to help us up." She suggested.
Lu Xingyan shook her head, "The more we are, the easier for him to catch us! He'll know that we're suspicious of him."
"But we can use some distractions. Mr. Qin's birthday is a week away, my section is planning to give him a surprise since he's our adviser. We can use that as an excuse to ask others for help. We can just tell them that we're trying to look at what kind of preferences he has so that we can buy a gift for him." Lu Weichun explained carefully to her sister.
Lu Xingyan stared at her sister, stunned. That was such a great idea!
"Did you hit your head somewhere?" The younger twin couldn't help but ask.
Lu Weichun blinked a few times again, clueless at what her sister was trying to imply with the question. "Well yeah. This morning when I woke up. I accidentally hit my head at the headrest." She replied honestly.
Lu Xingyan placed her hand on her sister's shoulder and gave her a serious look. "From tomorrow onwards, you should do it every morning."
"Eh?"

During that week, the twin sisters got themselves busy looking into Qin Bai's profile. Lu Weichun was able to ask help from her friends while Lu Xingyan asked help from one person, the boy she trusted the most in her class, Han Yehan.
It was not like Qin Bai didn't notice how students began checking on him. He later found out that it was actually for his birthday and they were just planning to give him a surprise so he didn't think much of it and instead, he decided to continue with the clueless act so that his students won't be disappointed.
Lu Weichun's plan worked really well that way. They were able to hide their real intention from him.
"I've sent men to look into him too." Han Yehan said, looking at the sisters.
It was lunch break and they were currently at the rooftop, eating and discussing at the same time.
"I'm so shocked to learn that Mr. Qin looked younger than his age! I can't believe that he's 37 years old! Thirty-seven!" Lu Weichun exclaimed after gulping down the food she just chewed. "And he has been working here for almost six years now!" She added.
Unlike her, Lu Xingyan and Han Yehan were just calmly eating, not really surprised by that information. What was actually surprising was the occurrences that happened when he began teaching at school.
Of course, they had to look at the school's history too and they found out that ever since he began teaching, there was always a case of 'suicide' once a year. It may not happen in the same month but Lu Xingyan couldn't help but think that it must be a way to disorientate and confuse the authority.
Killers were like artists, they always had their own signatures and Lu Xingyan was sure that if she was able to have a chance to look into the cases then she might be able to find that signature. She needed someone to look into it again.
Speaking of someone... A person came into her mind, making her smile.
"Why are you smiling?" Han Yehan asked, noticing the way her lips curled up.
"We need to someone tomorrow." Lu Xingyan replied.
"Someone?" Asked her sister. "Who?"
"Aunt Jiezhen."
