At first, when Lu Qian learned that his grandson, Lu Yifeng married someone else other than Bai Xiu Ying, he got angry at him. He was about to summon Lu Yifeng and ask him about this but he decided to look at the background of the girl he married first. He needs to find something against her so that he can make Lu Yifeng divorce her.

"Grandfather, this is my wife, Xia Meilin." Lu Yifeng introduced as he and Xia Meilin stood before the old man.

"It's nice to meet you, grandpa Lu." Xia Meilin politely bowed at him.
Lu Qian gave her a nod in acknowledgment before he turned to look at her grandparents.
"Hey! Old man Lu!" Xia Jiamu grinned when he saw Lu Qian. "Come here and sit with us!"
Lu Qian's brow twitched. Xia Jiamu was still the same as ever.
Ji Ruo hit him on his arm, "What are you, a kid? Act your age old man!"
Lu Qian sighed. Ji Ruo was still aggressive as ever.
"Do you know the Xia elders, grandfather?" Jing Yue asked. From the looks of it, it seems like they know each other.
"Old friends." This was Lu Qian's only response before he went to join the oldies table.
Once upon a time, these three oldies were all in the same circle of friends during their time in military camp.

"I heard that you gave my grandson a good beating, Ji Ruo." Lu Qian said as he sat on a chair beside Xia Jiamu.
"He needs to be taught." Ji Ruo crossed her arms. She took a glance at Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng. Seeing that they were now in good terms, she nodded at herself. "A man should always treat a woman right."
Meanwhile, Lu Xian Yu went to his mother with Li Bingbing on his side.

Jing Yue turned and saw her son, she took a quick glance at Li Bingbing. "Have you finally found yourself a wife?"
"I am just his friend, Madam Lu." Li Bingbing quickly said. Making sure that Lu Xian Yu won't be able to say anything strange to anyone anymore.
"Ah... I thought he finally found one." Jing Yue sighed. She didn't mind the kind of girl Lu Xian Yu choose since he was a difficult case. As long as he chooses a woman, she will accept her.
Lu Xian Yu narrowed his eyes at what Li Bingbing did. It looked like he still needed to give her a strict lesson for her to be obedient to him.

Little Melon quickly opened the small box and inside it was a Puss in Boots keychain. Little Melon couldn't help but grin when he saw the adorable keychain. "Mello loves it! Thank you, Sis Bingbing!"
Since Li Bingbing was kneeling in front of him, he gave her a hug.
"I still have some more but your uncle Xian Yu took it so you'll see it together with his gift." She hugged him back.
"Okay! Mello can't wait to see the other gifts!"
She pulled away from the hug and patted his head. "I am a busy woman, I have to go now, okay? I'm so happy that I was able to attend your celebration."
"Sister Bingbing should visit Mello at home." Little Melon said while looking up at her.
Li Bingbing grinned at him. "I will." She turned to Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng. "Both of you are doing well as parents."
"Are you sure you want to leave early?" Xia Meilin could see that there was something wrong with Li Bingbing even if she was all smiling.
"Yes. I'm just going to rest early tonight."
