"You don't have to worry about a thing. It may be an animal but you'll be surprised to know how loyal an animal can be. If it's trained properly, it can protect our son from anything." Lu Yifeng went to take a seat by the side of their bed. He was really tired. As soon as his plane landed, he directly went to attend his son's birthday. He was never able to get a proper rest that day.
"I still prefer it if we can return the cheetah to the wild."
Xia Meilin went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. When she went out in her nightdress, she saw him massaging his shoulder.
She walked towards her vanity table to dry her hair and after she did, she went to Lu Yifeng's side while holding an oil. "I can give you a massage."
He looked at her and smiled, "I will gladly accept that offer."
Lu Yifeng took off his shirt. He was so tired that he didn't notice Xia Meilin looking at his well-built body with a red face. He just lied down on the bed while facing his back to her.
Xia Meilin snapped out from her thoughts before she went and kneeled beside his body. She poured some of the oil on his back before she spread it with her hands.
"Are you going to work tomorrow?" Xia Meilin asked as she started massaging his back.
"Yes." He closed his eyes and enjoyed her massage. It was making his tensed and aching muscles relax. "I'm surprised that you know how to massage."
"I was taught by my grandma. Grandpa loves to be massaged so I asked grandma to teach me so that I can help grandpa with his back pain." She chuckled softly. "You know... I think you should take a day off tomorrow, Yifeng. You need a one day rest."
"Mm... then I will follow my wife's advice." He whispered sleepily.
Xia Meilin continued on massaging him. It was until she heard a soft snore coming from him. She stopped and turned to look at his sleeping face. She smiled at this.
She pulled the blanket up and covered his back before she took the remote and turned the lights off. She lied down beside him and face him. She gently stroked his hair.
Lu Yifeng was so tired that he didn't realize his wife's gentle actions.

When Lu Yifeng woke up from his peaceful sleep, he found himself alone in his room. He got up from his bed and went to take a bath before he headed down the stairs in his casual clothes.
He noticed that it was almost time for lunch. He actually slept in. He couldn't believe that he actually did so. He must have been really tired last night.
"Ah, you're awake. I was going to get you." Xia Meilin smiled at him as she went out of the dining room. "I made lunch for us."
Since Little Melon went to school, it was quiet in the house. Lu Yifeng held Xia Meilin by her waist when she stood in front of him. He bowed his head and gave her a soft peck on her lips. "I wasn't able to get my kiss last night so I'm taking it now."
She blushed lightly at this. Although she pouted her lips, she didn't complain. "You must be hungry. Let's eat."
When they entered the dining room, they went to their respective seats.
They started eating together and after they finished, Xia Meilin accompanied Lu Yifeng to his office.
Lu Yifeng was sitting comfortably on the sofa while reading one of the files that Su Lei sent him through his email.
Xia Meilin sighed. Even at home, he still ended up working. She went and sat beside him, she closed his laptop and placed it on the coffee table.
"Do you know what day off means? You're supposed to stop working!" Xia Meilin scolded him. "Are you only good with your work? You can do plenty of other things you know!"
Lu Yifeng narrowed his eyes. He turned to her before he leaned close, placing his arms at her sides. He cornered her against the sofa. "Then I guess I have to give all of my attention to my dear wife."
She gulped nervously as she leaned back. She was blushing shyly. "Y-Yifeng."
"I have the time, do you have the energy?" Lu Yifeng smirked. "I can give you all the attention you want today."
She placed her hands on his chest as if trying to stop him from leaning close to her. "T-This is not what I mean..."
"My wife, I am not only good in working. Do you want to see what else I am good at?" He held her chin and pulled her face close to him. "Do you want to try me, darling?"
