Jiu Wei and the others were quite shocked hearing Huo Bai Lei blunt words. This man...must really wanted to kill at least one people in their group!
Of course Li Shi Ying already expected this first rule as Huo Bai Lei purpose of challenging her was to avenge his children. She wasn't that surprised knowing this cruel rule.
Not only that she guessed that the one who would be allowed to participate in the challenge, could only be the leader of the group in other words...her.

This started only a few months ago but riddle battle became the sole battle that could challenge even the most intelligent people in lower realm! The gossip said that the one who created this battle was a mysterious prodigy from middle realm.
Since then...all the smart, clever, wise and intelligent people in lower realm would be acknowledged to be the intelligent people if they could win in riddle battle!

Qi Tou, Di Yu and Chen also had the same thought as Jiu Wei. Chen just knew about this new trend from one of his subordinate report and he wasn't interested in this kind of trend but he didn't expect to meet one soon!

"Alright I think this lady is ready so I will explain the rule of this riddle battle" Huo Bai Lei had a smile on his face as he explained the rule without waiting for Li Shi Ying to agree or not.

So..this is the rule. In this battle, both player would sat down on a chair that could be lowered down. Below the chair there would be a super hot lava waiting. As the starter Player 1 would give player 2 a riddle and if player 2 couldn't answer, the chair would be lowered down.
But if player 2 could answer, player 1 chair would be lowered down instead. After that player 2 will be the one giving riddle and the rule kept on going until one of the player got their chair lowered to the point of touching the lava.
The time to answer the riddle would be 10 second and beyond that, the player who haven't answer would lost the round.
Once the chair got completely soaked in lava, the player would automatically died and the battle would end.
The one who will play this battle had to be Huo Bai Lei and Li Shi Ying as the leader of each side, no one could replace them and no one could interfere in this battle.
"Alright then please follow me to the battle arena, lady." Huo Bai Lei stood up from his chair asking Li Shi Ying to follow him to the battle area while Chen and the others tried hard to think of a back-up plan if their mistress lost the battle.
They couldn't stop this battle!
10 minutes later at the arena which was surrounded by a very hot lava lake.
