Li Shi Ying look down to her hand which had been shoved away by Chen and faintly she felt her heart squeezed in pain.
Everyone said she was beautiful and so she thought Chen would also said that she was beautiful but ever since he came to the room...he didn't even look at her.
Not only that he suddenly slapped away her hand?! As expected...Chen didn't find her to be beautiful right?
Chen who was already outside, waiting for Li Shi Ying to climb the carriage, currently didn't know that his action had hurt Li Shi Ying feeling.
The man himself was now trying to get cold water or something to cooled down his hot face.

Chen wanted to bang his head to the carriage when he recalled how Li Shi Ying appearance looked too beautiful for his heart.

Just when Chen was about to bang his head for real to the carriage, Li Shi Ying came out from the inn wearing the white veil she usually wore.
"Ah...miss..." Chen looked at Li Shi Ying who came closer to his place and couldn't help but felt self-conscious. His bunny was wearing a veil now but he still felt nervous!
Li Shi Ying only gave a single glance at Chen before quietly climbed the carriage totally ignoring Chen who had just stretched out his hand to help Li Shi Ying climb the carriage.

Chen hand which was stretched out, froze on air when Li Shi Ying calmly ignored his existence and climb the carriage by herself.
Gaahhh this must be because he slapped away her hand before!!

Chen dejectedly climbed the carriage and sat across Li Shi Ying who was casually looking out to the window. Oh by the way the carriage is that lava crab divine beast. Li Shi Ying intended to 'show off' a little of her strength to people coming to the banquet later as to not encounter problem.
After all usually if you're dressed poorly or look low-key, troublesome people would always come picking on you but when you're dressed nicely, rarely people come picking on you.
