Golden City Tourist Area.
"Students, we have arrived at the Golden City, where the second round of the tournament will be held." One of the tournament staff announced in a loud voice, notifying all of the students left at the ship.
There were only 15 or so students, so it really wasn't a lot.
"Your guess is right! We're entering the golden city tourist area." Li Shi Ying's eyes shone excitedly as she looked at the empty area below them. The ship was still hovering in the sky about to land on the empty space near the gate to the tourist area.
But even though it's only an empty space provided for the 'parking lot' for a flying-type vehicle, the ground was polished in pure gold. Li Shi Ying could see the gold shine when the sunlight hit it, sending blinding sparkles to the people on the ship.
"Wow, even the parking lot is made from gold!" Shu Chen gasped in awe seeing their ship slowly landing on the gold ground below. If the usual parking lot was made from stone then this one was made from gold. It's so unique!
"Ah, another ship landed…" Li Shi Ying looked around her to see several flying ships similar to their ship also landing slowly on the gold ground. If her guess was right, those flying ships must be the ones used to pick up participants from other islands.
"Those must be ships from the other islands...our friends must be on one of those ships." Shu Chen squinted his eyes as he tried to look at the deck of those ships. He wanted to look for his teammates from the same academy!
"Well, we will meet them soon so let's just wait." Unlike Shu Chen, who was eager to meet his teammates again, Li Shi Ying, on the other hand, was completely calm.
Her teammates were all people she wasn't close with except for Long Ao Zhen. Some of them were even her enemies, so she wasn't that excited to meet them again.
The only reason why she would want to meet them again was to check if they got the treasures from the list they needed to find. She had a feeling that all the treasures from the 7 islands would be used to make something relevant to the second round.
15 minutes later….
"Okay, you may regroup with your team again. The second round will begin in the afternoon, at 2 p.m. Please make sure to assemble at this place again, now go follow your guide to your inn."
The head staff in Li Shi Ying's ship let Li Shi Ying and the other participants get off of the ship. Each of them could go find their teammates and later, the tournament staff would guide each group to their temporary place to stay.
"Mn let's go find our teammates." Li Shi Ying looked back to Qiao Mo, who was standing near the door from the ship, and couldn't help but feel reluctant to leave her master.
Qiao Mo told her to hide her identity as his inheriting disciple until the tournament ended, so she would have to act normal around him, and since he too was in disguise, he wouldn't do anything that attracted attention.
Qiao Mo saw Li Shi Ying was looking in his direction, and at seeing his disciple looking reluctant to leave him, his heart feel warm.
He was so glad he could take someone like Li Shi Ying to be his disciple.
Qiao Mo didn't say anything, and only silently waved his hand as he watched Li Shi Ying get off of the ship accompanied by Long Ao Zhen. Now he won't be able to see his disciple again face to face until the finals.
He hoped his disciple's team could go to the finals!
"Ah, there." Li Shi Ying looked around and the first teammates she spotted was Feng Wang Zi. She saw the man was also looking around, trying to find his teammates.
Li Shi Ying could easily spot Feng Wang Zi, since the man's fiery red hair made him stand out from the crowd, coupled with his white clothes...he looked like a flag of her country in her original world.
"Oh, the bastard." Long Ao Zhen muttered to himself as he reluctantly approached Feng Wang Zi. In his mind, this bastard would be the sign to gather for their team since everyone could spot his red hair so easily.
This man became a board sign now? It suited him!
"! Li Shi Ying and...the bastard." Feng Wang Zi spotted Li Shi Ying and Long Ao Zhen, who were approaching him. The moment he saw Long Ao Zhen, he couldn't help but want to curse again.
Long Ao Zhen and Li Shi Ying stopped a few meters away from Feng Wang Zi when they think they already found him. Li Shi Ying only gave a nod before waiting for the others to gather together.
She didn't want Long Ao Zhen to fight with Feng Wang Zi now, so she didn't talk to the man at all, only silently waiting for Zhan Jiou Li and the others to arrive.
Just like what Long Ao Zhen thought, the others could easily spot Feng Wang Zi and in no time, all their teammates had gathered in one place.
