"Your turn, good luck." Long Ao Zhen patted Li Shi Ying's knee before helping her get to the stage. The tournament will start in a minute, so both participants had to enter the stage right away.
Li Shi Ying gulped her saliva nervously as she stood on the stage, across Meng Yue Ming. The stage was quite high above the ground, and from this height, she could see that all of the audience's eyes were on her and Meng Yue Ming.
"So we meet again." Meng Yue Ming smirked as she sized up Li Shi Ying. She was ensuring that this girl was still a cripple like before.
"Yeah." Li Shi Ying squinted her eyes, trying to gauge Meng Yue Ming's strength and to her surprise...Meng Yue Ming's strength was on par with the strength Jiu Wei 'created' for her back in the Academy entrance exam.
Meng Yue Ming's strength really did increase by leaps and bounds! For a cripple like her who only had two kinds of skills as an ace card...she suddenly felt so hopeless.
"You know that in this battle we are allowed to kill right?" Meng Yue Ming crossed her arms in as she waited for the staff to begin the tournament.
"So what?" Li Shi Ying's legs were shaking, but she bit her lip trying to stay calm. She needed to recall all of the lessons her master taught her. What she needed to do wasn't to fiercely attack the other opponent, as that would only bring disadvantages to her.
Her master told her to preserve her energy for only one deathly move! Before she found the chance to do that, it was best to always dodge and defend. No matter how hurt she would be, no matter how severe the wound would be...the key was to persevere!
"So you are prepared to die." Meng Yue Ming raised her chin high like any other female lead would. She was brimming with confidence that she would absolutely win this battle and kill this annoying pest!
She had a trump card in her hand, her cultivation is way higher than this useless girl, her real-life battle experience was so rich compared to an ex-maidservant like her. Even though she wouldn't be a match for Li Shi Ying if the girl used her translator power….

The staff read out loud the rules for the third battle and when people heard the rule of forbidding the participant to use talismans, all of them went noisy.
"Can't use talismans? Does that mean one of those girls is a 2'nd type of translator? That's so awesome!" A young student from the nameless academy had his eyes shining in excitement.
Even though he wouldn't be able to see the translator in action since talismans were prohibited...he could still witness a real translator in a fight!
"Which one is the translator? The girl wearing red clothes from Liang Xin Academy?" One of the senior students from another academy couldn't help but ask his friend next to him. He was curious which one of the girls was the translator.
"No. From what I know, Dong Xi Academy has 3 translators. Two of them are 2'nd type of translators. We all know that Zhan Jiouli from Dong Xi Academy is a 2'nd type of translator, so the other one must be that girl in sky blue attire."
The man sitting right next to the one asking, silently observed Li Shi Ying and Meng Yue Ming as he made his guess. The girl in blue clothes didn't look like someone who could be a translator, but the badge on her chest told them that she came from Dong Xi Academy.
Not to mention that she is the team leader! There's no mistake that this weak-looking girl was the translator.
"Let's just see how that girl in blue will fight. From her appearance compared to the girl in red...she looks like a weak little rabbit!" The senior student shook his head as he went back to watch the upcoming battle.
"The participants can't go outside the stage for any circumstances. If they are out of the stage, they will automatically lose the battle. The participants are ready, so we will begin the tournament in three...two...one…"
The staff delivered the last rule before doing a count down towards the start of the last battle. Hearing this signal, Li Shi Ying tightened her fist as she focused her eyes on Meng Yue Ming's body. She bet that the moment the battle started, Meng Yue Ming would approach her at high speed, that's her speciality after all.
She had to be ready!
"Start!" The staff launched a firework into the sky as he shouted, signalling the start of the battle. The staff quickly went away from the stage and in less than a second after the signal was launched, Meng Yue Ming already made her move.
