I nodded before turning to Quintellia as I asked," what do you say?"
There wasn't much to think about. They never had any other option to begin with.
"All right. We will follow you to that spirit garden. It's not like we have many options available to us," Quintellia answered as she looked at me with a deep sigh. Hmmm. She is still naive or at least she should have questioned me a couple of things before agreeing. To trust a person you just met ain't the best thing to do in a dying world, you know?
'Should I betray her just to show that? Well… I won't exactly need to do that. There are plenty in this world that would do that to her,' I thought before nodding at her as I spoke,
"Then we should leave as soon as possible."
Even though we just went through a lot of things right now, the group didn't wait to take a short break or anything. They simply started packing everything they had, and within the next few minutes were ready to travel again.
'Let's see. Since they came from the west, and I said that I am traveling from the east. I guess, I have to choose between southwest or south east,' I pondered before taking a look at the map. And then choosing a certain location in the forest area, I nodded before I began walking North-West.
The others followed behind me, while I kept observing the map more properly. There were a lot of things that I found interesting including the city that was about a dozen kilometers away from here, and a couple of labyrinths about a 100 km on the North-side. The monsters ranged from A-Grade to S-Grade and it looked like a perfect place to check out my new found powers.
With all the skills that I have currently, I believe I can fight against a peak A-Grade with ease. A peak S-Grade, if I were to go all out.
'If I add the GM functions, I think I can handle even SS-Grades though anything above that would be challenging. Even if I upgrade all my equipment and skills to S-Grade somehow, I don't think challenging an SSS-Grade would be a good thing right now.'
Given the fact that the power of enemies increases between 10 to 100 times more with each grade up, it's a pretty unfair match up for those who are trying to get stronger. Unless you have a cheat like mine, I don't think people can even dream about defeating a monster one grade up in their lifetime.
If I remember correctly, the strongest one here on this planet was an SSS-Grade Dragon. Though, he was the only SSS-Grade so I don't exactly need to worry about traveling around. Even the other SS-Grades, whether players, NPCs, or monsters, were barely in two digits. A rough estimate would be between 20 to 25, the total number combined.
So for the most part, as long as I kept my tracks in check, I should be able to upgrade my gift while also helping Queintellia to reach a new height. Hmmm… I think I should work on my equipment as well.
A sigh escaped my mouth as I wondered what sort of upgrade I should look for next.
Something that increases my intelligence stat? That would let me create more things at once. Or should I aim to increase my charm? I have been neglecting it all the while now.
'Or maybe since I am dealing with spirits here, why not create a spirit related skill? Maybe a summoning skill? That could help in various ways,' I realized that it won't be a bad idea to delve into that.

As soon as I ascended that skill, a sudden part of my brain evolved. I felt like a knot within my senses was finally untied, opening up a pathway that I didn't know was available to me.
Even though my eyes were closed, I could see them. The spirits. They were everywhere, flying around in the forest that we traveled, and a few walked on the ground. Though each of them had a hurried expression on their face as they hasted to whatever destination they were walking towards.
"Oh! Can he see us now?! Interesting! Interesting!"
"Strange human! Blind human! Can you see us?!"
"Wow! This is strange!"
Some of the spirits that sat on my shoulders spoke out merrily before a certain spirit that looked like a blue fairy, flew in front of me. I 'saw' her and smiled, to which she was surprised. But then managing her composure she spoke,
"Strange blind human who can manipulate the energy of nature, my name is Ebony, a ice wind spirit. And I come here bearing an invitation that our Queen, the Fairy Spirit Queen, wants to have an audience with you."
