Often one asks how one could enjoy life if they had infinite money?
The first answer could be shopping. An endless amount of shopping, buying the best of the best of all products. Trying all sorts of jewelleries and styles, you can have anything you want, whether it be clothes, cars or to be fair, anything that can be bought.
Shopping in essence doesn't require infinite money but an absurd amount of money. And more than depending upon how much money you possess, it depends upon how much you want. If you want a bunch of biscuits to fulfill your desire, then that's the amount of money you need to fulfill everything you want. On the other hand, if you want the entire world and beyond, you would require money enough to buy the entire world.
The principle of greed is based on a never ending hunger to have everything. And that is why, humans, no matter what the amount of money, could never be satisfied. And those who could be satisfied, barely need more money to fulfill their basic requirements.
But let's put shopping aside. Cars, jewelliers or clothes are just materialistic things that make you look good in front of others. From another perspective, it's something you do to make others happy/jealous to make yourself feel better. So the first thing that you should get rid of when you have infinite money is to forget about getting recognition from others. That's the primary step to enjoy the near infinite money you have.
And with that on the plate, let's start with things that you can actually enjoy.
Food. The most exquisite food, the most costly, or the most tasty? Often they can all be grouped at once in a famous restaurant, and with near infinite money, why not test your taste? See if you like French wine, or Indian cuisine filled with all the spices better?
As for me, for the next 2 days, I ate all I could in all the places of this city. It didn't matter whether they were cheap, or if they were more costly than some of the houses in the city. I just ate it all, along with Elliot, Amber and Kite by my side. Not gonna lie, it was a wild experience tasting all those tastes.
Some were so bland, that I had to step in, preparing the same dish from scratch using my own expertise. Because I still have [Perfect Cooking] skill, it was pretty easy, making others shocked that I cook that good. While it was pretty useless given the world was ending and all, I also wrote the redefined recipes and passed them on to the restaurants and vendors.
Amber had a blast eating everything, while Elliot, though still shy, was also developing taste for all those foods. Though in a random conversation, she said that she liked my food the best. As for Kite, let's just say that she was taking her time getting along with me. And even though she kept a wall distance between her and the group, she was slowly getting used to the lax environment as well.
Food was just a part of the entertainment though. Once we were done with that, we booked theaters to watch all the movies this world had to offer on 2x speed. And trust me when I say this, it was really bad. So bad that I had to skip a bunch of movies before I skipped it all together.
Perhaps because it was a world focused on Vampires, Ghouls and stuff, the movies here were not even as good as B-Grade movies back in my original world. Still, bad movies turn good when you have the right company. And Amber, god damn this kid was good at making comical comments when it came to such movies. Joining along with her, even Elliot tended to join us sometimes, making us laugh a lot.
Though the one that enjoyed the most were Elliot's parents, who were probably watching the movies for the first time in their lives. Their entire life they had been on a run because of their choices, so this was probably a first in their life that they had been so relaxed. Enough to enjoy time not only with their child, but also with each other. Watching them smile like that, made me smile as well, but since I couldn't torture myself with these B-Grade movies anymore, I decided to move to the next item on the list.
"The movies are done. The food is done. What is next brother?" Amber asked with excitement in her eyes, while I pondered before looking at those around me and a smirk formed on my face as I asked,
"Have you ever tried free fall?"
Confused, they all looked at me, wondering what I was talking about. And then with the same smirk that soon turned into a devilish grin, I turned on my skill.
[Absolute Relocation!]
The entire world turned into a shade of white over black, as I stood there standing in this ever frozen world. It was my first time seeing this skill, so even I was amazed with this skill.
"Cool!" I exclaimed before touching Elliot and Amber, and then bringing their unconscious body into this world. Since the limit was barely 2, I had to do it in batches of 3 or more.
Carrying their bodies in my arm, I jumped as high as possible, reaching about 4 kilometers in the air, before leaving their body. Momentarily turning off [Absolute Relocation], I turned it on once again.
Reaching down, I picked up Kite and Sebastian next. And then Elliot's parents. And then a bunch of agents that were watching us.
Once they were all in the air, I jumped in the air as well, reaching the same height as theirs and then as I undid the effect of [Absolute Relocation!].
"HUH?!!" Amber was alarmed before her eyes slowly reached my laughing face. And then as horror covered her entire body, she shouted,
"BROTHER YOU BASTARD!!!!!"
And then we all fell, with everyone panicking shouting as loud as they could.
