The two of them returned home. Xiao Ying sent an email to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, notifying them that she would not be going there for a period of time.

She took out her phone and sent a message to Cheng Yang.
She said to the first receptionist, “I’ve sent him a message to let him pick me up. I’ll wait for him here.”

“I gave her the courage,” said a faint voice from behind them.

Cheng Yang said straightforwardly, “Go to the finance department to settle your paycheck.”

Cheng Yang didn’t look at her. He walked past her and walked over to Xiao Ying’s side. “Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
Xiao Ying grinned, “I’m here to investigate to see if you did anything bad behind my back.”
Cheng Yang smiled and said, “You’re always welcome, Madam.”
Xiao Ying glared at him. This person was getting more and more brazen.
