The sound was intermittent, and there was no pattern to it. This phenomenon had never happened before.

Cheng Yang’s voice sounded. “That little girl is easy to coax.”
Xiao Ying’s mind was blown. She couldn’t believe that this was real. But she couldn’t be mistaken about this voice. It was Cheng Yang’s voice.
She did not have the courage to open the door and looked in through the blinds. Wen Jing was sitting on Cheng Yang’s lap.
Xiao Ying took a step back in disbelief. The purse in her hand fell, and the sound alarmed the people inside.
Wen Jing walked out and saw her. She smiled and said, “You’re here to look for Cheng Yang, right? What’s the matter?”
Xiao Ying stared at her coldly and said, “It’s none of your business. Get out of my way.”
Wen Jing took a step to the side and stopped her from entering. “We still have something to do. You should wait for a while if you want to see him.”
Xiao Ying shouted from the door, “Cheng Yang, come out!”
No one answered. Cheng Yang still hadn’t come out. Wen Jing said smugly, “He doesn’t seem to want to see you very much now.”
Xiao Ying’s face turned pale. She turned around and left the office, walking aimlessly on the streets.
She felt that something was wrong and did not believe that Cheng Yang would treat her like this. But the voice just now was indeed Cheng Yang’s. She did not have the courage to push open the door. She could not accept that truth.
It was as if the pillar of support from when she was young had disappeared. Xiao Ying subconsciously walked along the street. Several hooligans walked over from the opposite side. One of them teased his companion and deliberately walked towards Xiao Ying before bumping into her.
Xiao Ying quickly apologized. “I’m sorry.”
The hoodlum chuckled and said, “Little Beauty, is an apology enough?”

This also made the hoodlums opposite her laugh loudly. “Little Beauty, don’t resist anymore. Be good and come with us.”
Xiao Ying’s gaze quickly scanned her surroundings. There was no way for her to escape. She would definitely not be able to win against these men alone.
The man’s hand reached for her face, but she shook it off with her purse.
The hoodlum’s gaze turned sharp as he looked at the red mark on his hand. “So you want to do this the hard way.” As he spoke, he raised his hand to slap her.
Before he could touch her, he was kicked to the ground by someone from behind.
Xiao Ying raised her head and saw Zhou Yao standing there with a cold expression. He was still stepping on the hoodlum who was about to attack.
Seeing this, the other gangsters looked at each other and attacked Zhou Yao together.
Zhou Yao protected Xiao Ying behind him with a cold expression. As he blocked the hoodlums’ attacks, he led her backward. He found a small corner where she could hide and pushed her in. “Be good and wait.”
With that, he let loose and focused on dealing with the gangsters.
