The Fake Heiress Turns out to Be a True Tycoon! Chapter 47

Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Delilah Woods Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Delilah Woods At the same time, at the hospital.

Isolde Garrison lay on the hospital bed, once again trapped in a nightmare.

As the most spoiled little princess of the Garrison Family, Isolde always got whatever she wanted.

She knew the Garrison Family wasn’t exactly top-tier elite, but it didn’t stop her from being regarded as the golden child among ordinary people.

Initially, she noticed Delilah Woods simply because they shared the same name.

When she overheard classmates calling someone else with that familiar name, Isolde felt displeased.

A pauper with the same name as hers disgusted her.

But to maintain her image among classmates, she didn’t show it. Instead, she outwardly claimed it was fate, although she subtly hinted that having the same name made it difficult to know if they were calling her or Delilah, which was quite annoying.

Micah Quigley’s family had business ties with the Garrison Family, and Micah had liked her since childhood. As her most loyal devotee, when he heard of Isolde’s “trouble,” he naturally rushed to solve it for her.

Micah began openly bullying Delilah Woods.

He would block her path to school with his crew, deliberately knock her food tray over, and throw her desk and books into the trash.

Every time he saw Delilah looking disheveled, he would unhesitatingly mock her.

Isolde playfully scolded him for his “performance,” “Don’t bully your classmates.”

It was a light slap, like scratching an itch.

More like a form of encouragement.

Micah became more proactive in causing trouble for Delilah.

At first, Isolde didn’t pay much attention to this trivial matter until one day, she suddenly realized that Micah was spending less and less time with her.

Even his daily unwavering messages of care had suddenly disappeared.

Isolde didn’t like Micah, but she was used to his devoted flattery.

She wanted to know why, so she took an interest in Micah’s affairs for the first time.

As a result, she stumbled upon the scene.

Micah had Delilah pressed against the wall, his entire body tightly clinging to her. Ignoring Delilah’s struggle, he forcibly kissed her, murmuring,

“Delilah Woods, I like you. If you behave, I won’t bully you…”

Isolde initially thought Micah was just playing games with Delilah, or worse, treating Delilah as her substitute.

Until she deliberately gave him a chance to get closer to her, yet Micah wasn’t moved.

Later, she jokingly asked about that Delilah Woods.

Micah looked at her and, uncharacteristically serious, said, “Isolde, I can’t like you anymore.”

Because he had genuinely fallen for Delilah Woods.

Not as a stand-in, nor as a deliberate tease, but truly liked her and wanted her as his girlfriend.

Isolde found it laughable.

An abuser falling for his victim during the abuse, and he even dreamed of dating her.

Micah was just a piece of trash, an idiot.

Isolde didn’t like him, but she disliked others taking what was hers more.

Even if it was garbage.

So she pretended to be happy for them, even inviting Delilah into their little circle.

In front of Micah, she took care of Delilah, invited her to meals, which were actually her own leftovers from the previous night.

She did Delilah’s hair, but “accidentally” burned her scalp.

She trimmed her nails, but “accidentally” cut off a piece of her skin.

Occasionally, Micah, this piece of trash, would show concern for her injuries.

Each time, Isolde would apologize to Delilah, seemingly deeply regretful and upset, and naturally, Micah wouldn’t bother.

He claimed to like Delilah Woods, yet he didn’t realize Delilah was suffering in a different way right under his nose.

Isolde originally just wanted to teach a little lesson to this daring bitch who dared to take her things.

But who could have expected that she would unexpectedly discover Delilah was pregnant.

Pregnant with Micah’s child.

Isolde couldn’t quite describe her feelings upon learning this.

It was like a toy she’d played with for a long time, suddenly tainted by someone else’s scent.

She thought Micah was filthy.

But more than Micah, she detested the one who had soiled her toy.

So she took advantage of Delilah’s panic and helplessness due to the pregnancy, luring her to the deserted rooftop of the teaching building.

“Micah treated you that way because of me. Because I don’t like others having the same name as me, Micah bullied you.”

“Do you think he really likes you? It’s just because I’ve been ignoring him, so he wanted a substitute for venting.”

“Delilah, I’m sorry, but you’re just a substitute.”

“It’s outrageous of him, even doing something for my sake, causing this mess…”

Delilah only realized at that moment why she had been bullied, even being entangled with such a scumbag under the guise of love.

She hated Micah, and she hated Isolde.

Perhaps due to her breakdown, or maybe due to the curse on that school rooftop, Delilah suddenly miscarried without warning.

Isolde watched wide-eyed as she collapsed, the blood pooling beneath her.

She panicked, and her first instinct was to run.

Ignoring Delilah’s pleading and desperate gaze, and the hand reaching out for help, Isolde turned and ran, even subconsciously closing the rooftop door behind her.

She ran all the way home, telling no one about Delilah’s whereabouts.

Until the next day, news broke online that a girl had been found at the top of an abandoned school building, suspected of attempting suicide due to teenage pregnancy.

Fortunately, due to timely discovery, the girl survived, but the child was gone.

Later, Isolde heard that Delilah’s family had arranged for her to take a break from school.

After that, she never heard any news about Delilah, and even Micah suddenly transferred schools, but by then Isolde no longer cared about Micah.

A year later, Isolde had nearly forgotten Delilah existed.

She couldn’t understand why Delilah would suddenly haunt her.

But what did her death have to do with her?

It’s not like she caused it!

If she hadn’t been so shameless, why would she have gotten involved with Micah?

Even getting pregnant with his child.

Her miscarriage wasn’t her doing. It clearly was her own bad luck, so why haunt her?

Once again awoken by a nightmare, waking only to be scared awake again.

Isolde broke down, cursing at Micah, who had transformed into Delilah in front of her,

“Delilah Woods! What does your death have to do with me?! I didn’t do this to you! How dare you torment me ?! You think you can scare me?

I won’t be scared of you! You’re just a slut, a slut who got tangled with Micah! I’m not afraid of you! I’m not afraid of you; when my dad finds a powerful master, I’ll have them rid you! I’ll make your soul scatter! Whore!”

As if enraged by her words, the Delilah in front of her suddenly became hideously grim.

This time, Isolde didn’t wake up again, because Delilah reached out and squeezed her neck.

She wanted her to never wake up.
