"Is he coming back?"
Nan Yu took note of the violet in her heart and then looked towards Nanny Wang.
Nanny Wang nodded, "The old lady has just called, saying that the young master will be back later, Young Madam, you go and rest first, I will call you when the young master returns."
Nan Yu nodded lightly and went upstairs.
Upon entering the room, she noticed an added shade of purple on the bedside table in her otherwise minimalist-styled room.
The air was filled with the sweet and slightly beguiling scent of violets.
Nan Yu couldn’t help but take another sniff and murmured softly, "The blanket I’m going to give him, might as well embroider it with violets."
She placed the invitation into the drawer of the bedside table, then picked up her laptop and entered the bathroom.
She lay in the bathtub, the laptop resting on the wooden rack over the tub, her hands continuously typing on the keyboard.
She searched for information about the banquet the night after tomorrow, most importantly for information about that person.
Soon, half an hour had passed.
Nan Yu came up empty-handed.
"Senior sister, have you deliberately erased all the information, are you intentionally avoiding me?"
She closed the laptop, slid down the bathtub, submerging herself fully in an attempt to clear all distracting thoughts.
For a moment, the only sound in the bathroom was the swirling water.
Five minutes later, there was a knock on the door.
"Young Madam, are you done bathing?"
Hearing Nanny Wang’s voice, Nan Yu emerged from the water, took several deep breaths, wiped the water from her face, and then looked in the direction of the door.
"I am ready."
Nanny Wang’s voice continued from outside.
"Young Madam, you have a friend here, waiting for you downstairs."
Upon hearing the word "friend," the image of Yingqing flashed through Nan Yu’s mind, and she quickly stood up, wrapping herself tight in a bath towel.
"Nanny Wang, ask her to wait for a moment, I’ll be right down."
Nanny Wang responded, "Okay, Young Madam."
The next second, footsteps receded.
Nan Yu quickly dried her hair and changed into a casual outfit, then walked downstairs while calling out.

"What are you doing here?"

"Song Lihan, you know full well she almost lost her life before she left the Song family, and you casually ask me to persuade her to return; you make a disgusting brother."
She turned directly to Uncle Qi and said, "Uncle Qi, see the guest out!"
"Our home isn’t a garbage recycling place, if he comes again, just chase him away."
Having said that, she didn’t even spare Song Lihan an extra glance and went straight upstairs.
As Song Lihan stood up, there wasn’t a trace of anger on his face, but his sinister eyes were full of ruthlessness.
