"Delivering a meal?"
Nan Yu turned her head to look at Nanny Wang, her whole person somewhat stunned.
Nanny Wang said with a smile, "Young Madam, the young master has been so busy lately. Since you got married, I’ve heard from the old madam that you’ve had to spend much time apart. Now, he’s too busy to return home."
She paused, her voice earnest, "For newlyweds, it’s essential to see each other often, so you don’t grow estranged. You’ll become more familiar with each other, and today is a good opportunity for Assistant Xia to take you to the company. It will let everyone there know you’re the Huo Family’s Young Madam, and it will be much easier for you to visit him in the future."
Nan Yu listened to her reasoning, finding it hard to come up with a rebuttal on the spot.
But she and Huo Juanyan were bound to divorce sooner or later. Going to the company now, letting more people know her identity, would only create complications when they divorced.
Moreover, she felt that Huo Juanyan didn’t want much contact with her. Ideally, he preferred a secret marriage, making it known to as few people as possible that they were married.
She pursed her lips, pondering on how to refuse.
Unexpectedly, Xia Xing spoke up first.
"Nanny Wang, there’s no need to send a meal to President Huo tonight; he’s attending an important dinner and discussing a significant project," he said.
Upon hearing this, Nanny Wang knew that the project was very important; otherwise, Huo Juanyan wouldn’t have gone to negotiate in person.
Her expression changed in an instant, "If that’s the case, then it won’t interfere with the young master’s work. We can wait for another day."

Arriving at the entrance, he just saw Huo Juanyan coming out.
He immediately got out of the car, took over the wheelchair from Old Ning, and pushed Huo Juanyan into the car.
Once in the car, Xia Xing couldn’t help but ask, "President Huo, did the project go smoothly?"
"Mmm, fairly smooth," Huo Juanyan replied as he closed his eyes and leaned back in the seat, catching a whiff of a sweet fragrance in the air that wasn’t cloying.
His eyes suddenly opened as he followed the scent towards the seat on his right, where Nan Yu’s sleeping face appeared in his mind.
There, a blanket lay in a heap.
A dark shade flashed through his eyes.
"The person was sent back?"
From the front, Xia Xing replied, "She was sent back, President Huo, and Miss Nan also asked me to say thank you on her behalf."
The depth in Huo Juanyan’s eyes grew darker, "Mmm."
Xia Xing glanced at Huo Juanyan in the rearview mirror, noticing no sign of anger. Recalling Nanny Wang’s words, he couldn’t help but speak up.
"President Huo, Nanny Wang said tonight that she hopes you can come home more often and spend time with the Young Madam."
