Fleur immediately turned around as she heard that loud sneeze coming from Caliste’s cell.
Before she turned around, Caliste began rubbing his nose, acting as if he had been the one making that much noise. However, Fleur wasn’t sold on it as she approached the cell in silence, observing the bed with more intensity.
"Are you sure that you’re really alone in here?" she asked with a frown as the shape of the bed sheet seemed strange. It really looked like there was someone below it; after all, there was.
There was her mom under those bed sheets. However, Fleur couldn’t find that out. It was a good thing Caliste had locked the cell after Luna had unlocked it; otherwise, he would have been in some trouble.
"Um... why do you say that? I was the one who sneezed just now."
Fleur frowned. She was clearly doubting Caliste, and just as she was about to say something, the guard who had been sleeping since earlier opened his eyes because of all the nearby noises.
"Ugh... what the hell is happening around here?" he muttered under his breath as he squinted his eyes open before widening them at once when he saw there was someone talking with the prisoner. "I hope you have a good explanation for being here!"
The guard had not seen who was the person talking with Caliste. He only knew that it was a woman.
He stood up and pulled out his sword as he began approaching the woman.
"Turn around slowly and explain to me why you’re here."
Fleur, who had been talking to Caliste, sighed, annoyed as she turned around and showed her face to the guard, whose expression immediately changed.
He looked as if he had just seen a ghost.
"I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to threaten the princess. Please don’t tell your father."
Fleur shook her head, not caring about anything coming out of this idiotic guard’s mouth.
"Next time, do your job properly. Anyway, open this cell. I want to verify something inside it," Fleur said with a frown.
But then, as the guard tried to take his keys, he realized that something was wrong. He tried to look around his waist, but there was nothing. His keys had completely disappeared.
"T-They’re gone! S-Someone took my keys!"
"Argh! You’re so incompetent! Just wait until my father hears of this!" Fleur threatened, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to tell him.
After all, she was in the wrong since she had come here in the first place. If her father heard that she had come to the dungeon to meet with her "boyfriend," then she would be in even more trouble.
"B-But... this isn’t my fault!"
"Who was the one sleeping instead of doing their job? This is your fault."
Fleur frowned as she decided to help the guard with this.
"Come on. Let’s go get another set of keys." Fleur then turned toward Caliste with a slight frown. "We’ll be back in a few minutes. No worries."
Right as the sound of footsteps faded, Luna, who was under the bed, came out at once with her hair all ruffled up.
She was panicking.
"W-What am I going to do? W-What if she sees me with you! Do you have any idea what she’ll do to me? She’ll never trust me ever again!"
Caliste smiled as this only made it more fun. "Don’t worry, she won’t find out about anything. Give me the keys."
Luna immediately did so as she watched Caliste.
It was quite strange that the younger of the two was the one handling this, as Luna honestly looked like a kid right now, just watching while sitting on the bed.
Caliste unlocked the cell. "Come on. You need to leave before they come back."
"W-What about my clothes? I can’t go back naked. There are guards everywhere upstairs..."
Caliste shook his head at her words. She was definitely right. She couldn’t go upstairs like this, and they didn’t have the time for her to wear her clothes again.
"Fuck... what can we do here?"
Caliste shook his head as he tried to think as fast as possible. Then, he finally got an idea.
He threw the keys to Luna. "Go as far as possible this way and enter a random empty cell. I’ll call you when everything is over."
Luna nodded as she began running naked through the dungeon.
Luckily, there were no other prisoners inside this place. Otherwise, they would have seen the queen of the elves running with her ass and tits jiggling in the process.
Let’s just say that rumors would have definitely spread, and this time they would have been much worse than the ones about Fleur.
Anyway, as Luna began running away, the sound of footsteps returned, and it seemed Fleur was coming back with the guard.
Caliste sat by the edge of his bed as a way of showing that there was really no one inside it.
"We’re back," Fleur said with a frown as she looked inside the cell.
The bulge she had seen with her own eyes before was now gone for some strange reason.
"What did you do while I was gone?" Fleur asked as she held the keys in her hand. She quickly unlocked the cell and immediately went toward the bed, pulling the bed sheets as hard as she could.
But... there was no one under it.
Luna was already far gone.
"Tsk..."
"I told you there was no one."
Fleur would have usually trusted Caliste about this, but she had a bad feeling about this situation. In truth, she was very jealous that there was a chance another woman had been inside Caliste’s bed.
"Mhm..." Fleur knew that she hadn’t dreamed. There had definitely been something weird about that bed. But now... there was no way for her to prove that. The only way would be to find Luna, but she had already entered a random cell and hidden inside it. "Whatever... make sure to sleep well. We have a lot of things to do tomorrow. That quest won’t be easy to complete in a day."
Fleur then left and went back to her room, leaving Caliste alone with the guard.
