"So does your eldest sister agree?" Gu Qingheng looked towards Yang Ruxin.
"Agree, definitely agree," Sanni declared outright, "Let’s also invite Aunt Feng to join us for the meal later."
"I’ll go call Auntie," Sini said, dashing outside.
"Take it slow, don’t fall," Yang Ruxin called out from behind her.
"I’m going too," Xiaofeng also ran out following her.
"I’ll step out for a moment," Gu Yao glanced at Yang Ruxin.
Yang Ruxin nodded, "Hurry back soon."
Gu Qingheng also nodded his head.
Gu Yao then turned and walked away.
"Is there something I can do?" Gu Qingheng asked, turning towards Yang Ruxin.
"You?" Yang Ruxin smiled, "Just sit there, that will be fine."
Gu Qingheng raised his eyebrows slightly.
Yang Ruxin didn’t explain but instead smirked mischievously and then sped up her actions.
"Big sister, why do you want Gu to just sit there?" Erni was utterly puzzled.
Sanni also looked up, equally curious.
"Seeing your Gu makes my mood very good," Yang Ruxin said with a somewhat lecherous smile, "They say beauty is a feast for the eyes..."
Erni and Sanni couldn’t help but cover their faces, thinking, big sister, can you be a little more modest? Where’s your face?
However, Gu Qingheng couldn’t help but laugh, "In Xinxin’s eyes, I am finally not useless; my heart is greatly comforted!"
"Haha." Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but laugh, then went over to him and raised her flour-covered hand to touch Gu Qingheng’s face, "Gu Qingheng, you were never useless."

"Something you’ve never eaten before," Yang Ruxin hurried back to the stove to keep busy.
First, she mixed dough with white flour, added green onions and eggs, and spread it into thin pancakes. During this, she cleaned the small shrimps, then seasoned them with cooking wine, green onions, ginger, pepper, and other spices. After the pancakes were done and the shrimps were marinated, she drained them and after tossing them in dry starch until evenly coated.
Speaking of this starch, Yang Ruxin hadn’t bought any, so, earlier when she came back, she made some herself by soaking diced potatoes in water for a while, then after letting the water settle, the starch at the bottom of the basin was collected and dried for use.
With the preparation done and the oil in the pan warmed up, she fried the shrimps until golden and drained them; the great task was accomplished.
These shrimps could be eaten directly or wrapped in the pancakes, and of course, they tasted even better with some green onion, cucumber strips, and bean paste wrapped inside. Unfortunately, there were no cucumbers at home, but with green onion and miso paste, the flavor was still great.
Gu Yao came back very quickly after the food was prepared; clearly, he had used Qinggong to come and go.
Yang Ruxin asked nothing and just told everyone to wash their hands and eat.
"I didn’t expect these small river shrimps that look like they have no meat to be so delicious," Gu Yao, who was already hungry, devoured four pancakes in one go and started to roll up his fifth.
"Xinxin’s cooking is really good," Feng said contentedly. She didn’t usually have a big appetite but had eaten three pancakes today.
"Gu Qingheng, what do you think?" Yang Ruxin had personally rolled three pancakes for Gu Qingheng and, seeing that he hadn’t spoken, couldn’t help but ask.
"Delicious," Gu Qingheng smiled and nodded, especially since Xinxin had made them by hand and rolled them for him personally, they tasted exceptionally sweet.
