The Fraud Heir to The Strongest Clan Chapter 81

Hours had passed since the battle with the Demon King had taken place. With persistent advances by the imperial army, they had been able to clear out the remaining demons hiding within the empire. They had also captured the immortal Demon King.

Furthermore, Dheinyrus had managed to infiltrate the demonic continent to destroy it from the inside, permanently eliminating the threat that this problematic race posed for thousands of years...

After guaranteeing the safety of the citizens, everyone had returned to the capital. Currently, the leaders of all the clans were having a meeting inside the emperor’s office while the scions, Zarria and Shina waited at the grand hall with their butlers standing by in the corner. They just had dinner, so after this final meeting, the clans would return to their respective domains and resume their business.

"Still... it’s hard to accept that my sister is... not actually my sister, but my cousin," Philip Wixorn said.

"And as if that isn’t enough for a surprise, I find out that she has demon blood? How did our parents hide this from us for this long? And since when are demons and humans able to crossbreed?!" the scion of spirits muttered, disheartened.

"I hope your bond wouldn’t change despite discovering this truth, Lord Wixorn."

"That goes without saying," Philip answered.

"I was just shocked, but Fiorelle will always be my little sister. That’s why I can’t help but feel worried about her joining the demons."

After thinking for a moment, Thevon said:

"She is with her real father, so I doubt she will be in any danger. I also do not blame her for wanting to know the truth about herself."

Suddenly, the princess rose from her seat and gave everyone a strange look.

As all eyes were on her, she spoke.

"Sorry, everyone, but I will not be able to see you off. I want to go to my room and rest."

They stood up and lowered their heads.

"Please go ahead, Your Majesty, it’s getting pretty late, too," Philip Wixorn said.

"We know you have been through a lot. Please get a good night’s sleep."

With that, Shina walked out of the grand hall and took the stairs.

Along the hallway, she stopped in front of her father’s office. She could barely hear the muffled voices inside, but she could tell that the mood was light and they were having a joyful conversation.

According to them, Shina being unworthy of being Dheinyrus’ wife had been a part of his plan. Since he would be staying in the demonic continent for his mission, he purposefully delayed their marriage.

But Shina knew that wasn’t the case.

Something was wrong with her that she needed to find out. There was a high chance that this was connected to why demons were so desperate to capture her.

Raising her hand, Shina hesitated for a moment. She eventually knocked on the door.

"Come in," Vedis shouted.

She pushed the door open and saw the five clan heads together in her father’s office. Axerion losing one eye would always startle her, but what was even more unsettling was the story behind it. Nonetheless, she just thanked the gods that Zarria was saved.

"Shina? What do you need, my daughter?" Vedis asked.

Maybe it was a stroke of luck, but Yuhan, her mother, was also there. Shina lingered for a second, staring at her parents before walking up to them.

Then, for seemingly no reason at all, she gave both of them a hug.

After this, Vedis and Yuhan gave her confused looks.

"Huh? What was that for?" mumbled the emperor.

Shina only smiled and then said;

"Nothing. I just felt like doing it."

The princess then walked out of the room, a grim dread was looming over her. As soon as she was walking by herself again, she couldn’t help but frown in worry and fear.

’Dheinyrus... please be safe,’ she prayed.

Instead of going to her room like she said, Shina went to the armory.

What waited for her there was the dark versatile suit and a dragon patiently sitting beside it.

Once again, she was about to make an escape, but for a completely different purpose now.

Dheinyrus needed her help. She alone knew his secret and that was exactly why she needed to save him. Only she could do it.

The others were completely convinced that this was all according to his plan. And so, they had no intention of going to the demonic continent to rescue him.

Even though Dheinyrus had a powerful god inside him, she doubted that he would risk getting completely replaced and put the whole world in danger. He would always prioritize the good of others than his own safety.

Just imagine what the demons might have already done to him were enough to make Shina’s skin crawl.

She left a letter, saying that she would be heading to her mother’s hometown in Tianmin.

Then, the princess took off her clothes and put the versatile suit on. With the help of Remi’s improved flight abilities, she scaled the tall walls of the palace. In the middle of the night, she stood on the rooftops and gazed over the sleeping city of Olcour capital.

There was no way to go to the demonic empire because of the celestial barrier. Of course, she can’t open it or tell the Divinity Clan to open it for her.

Dheinyrus entrusted his deepest secret to her, and she made a decision to protect it as well.

To get to the demonic empire, she would have to sail through the perilous ocean around the continent. Colossal marine creatures lurked in this part of the world, and not even demons dared to sail them.

But she had no choice.

For Dheinyrus, she would walk through hell itself.

Shadowblade clenched her fist as she gazed over the distance. Nothing but the howling night wind accompanied her and Remi.

’Wait for me, Dheinyrus. This time, I will save you.’

Sitting on the demonic throne, Dhein took a sip of the most famous wine the demons had to offer. Indeed, it was something he had never tasted before. It was processed using demonic technology and only contained ingredients native to Sekhtar.

"I—Is it to your liking, my lord?" Krushe asked, furtively glancing at him while kneeling.

"This is excellent, Krushe. Thank you for recommending it."

He then glanced at the liquid. Thɪs chapter is updated by 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡⁂𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢⁂𝘯𝘦𝘵

"This is safe to consume though, isn’t it? I just hope you didn’t dare to poison me..."

The demoness frantically shook her head.

"No way! If even the throne of death couldn’t kill you, then no amount of poison could."

Dhein raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. Anyone who sits on that throne would have their soul burned instantly. Only the former Demon King, an immortal, was able to claim the throne."

After a short, almost weird pause, she continued.

"But since you managed to defeat him, it seems like your immortality was greater. You are our new ruler, King Dheinyrus. The whole demonic empire is now yours."
