The next day, Keira tried to bake some cookies as she followed to all the steps of the recipe she had found online.
"Hmmm, this one seems easy," she thought as she chose the blueberry-orange traybake pancake recipe.
Keira followed the instructions as she brushed the baking tray with butter.
Then she tipped flour and baking powder into a bowl and that made her sneeze, so she scratched her nose and some powder was left on her face.
She heard footsteps and smiled because only Zach knew her condo password.
"What are you doing?" Zach asked.
Keira felt Zach’s arms encircle her waist.
"I’m trying my luck in baking since it’s easier. I want to, at least, make something for you only by my efforts," answered Keira with a sigh.
Lately, she noticed that Zach was too sweet. She was trying hard not to be too sweet, but Zach was the one who’s acting like that, pampering her to no end.
’Is he initiating something? Maybe I should ask?’ she mused.
So she turned around and faced him.
Zach chuckled, seeing the powder on Keira’s face.
"What a clumsy woman," he commented laughing as he cleaned up Keira’s face.
Keira’s playful side kicked in, so she stretched her palm and spread some baking powder on Zach’s face too.
"There..." Keira murmured. But she thought that it wasn’t enough and wanted to get another palmful of baking powder.
But somehow, Zach’s face remained blank. No smile at all, so Keira suddenly bit her lip.
"I’m just playing, why are you suddenly so serious?" Keira asked when Zach let go of her and shook off the powder on his face, then he looked on the floor where a lot of baking powder was spread across it.
He cleaned it up without saying a word.
"Are you angry? Why are you so quiet?" Keira asked a bit worried this time. By his expression, she could tell that Zach was not pleased.
Then she heard him sigh.
"Finish what you are doing. I’ll wait in the living room," he said simply and walked out.
Keira felt that Zach was irritated, so she quickly washed her hands and followed him to the living room.
"What’s wrong?" Keira asked once more as she intensely looked at Zach.
"I hate when food is wasted, regardless if it’s just simple baking powder, salt or sugar," he said with a sigh.
"A lot of people can’t afford to buy simple baking powder. But you used it to play," added Zach in his serious tone.
Keira bit her lip. She suddenly felt like she wanted to cry as she said, "I’m sorry, I never thought of that."
She understood what Zach was trying to convey, but for some reason, she felt sensitive as if she got scolded for a very small matter.
Zach let out a long, deep sigh. He might have sounded overreacting over that matter, but that’s who he was.
He really hated when food got wasted like that. Because he had experienced how hard it was to starve.
He stood up and gently held Keira’s shoulders as he explained, "Please, don’t get me wrong. Maybe, it’s because I’ve experienced the rock bottom of being poor. I’ve starved a lot, so maybe, it’s psychological. I can’t stand when and if food is used just to play like that."
Keira bent a bit to hug Zach as she whispered, "Alright, I understand. Sorry. Next time, I’ll be more sensitive.
Then Keira raised her head and looked at Zach as she said, "Please, don’t get mad." She followed her words with a peck kiss.
This time Zach smiled at her and pinched her nose.
"I’m not mad, Keira... Maybe, just unpleased..." clarified Zach.
"Hmm, okay... Hope this will please you," whispered Keira as she sat on Zach’s lap and kissed him.
She gently kissed him as she sucked his upper and lower lips, then she deepened the kiss and slid her tongue in, probing. She felt his tongue, matching her rhythm.
Zach’s hand started to move as it traced Keira’s arm then it went to touch Keira’s breast.
He heard her gasp when he gently caressed it with her blouse still on, but Zach could feel its fullness. She was not wearing a bra under her loose blouse.
It seemed that touching it with a barrier was not enough, so Zach let go of Keira’s lips as he took off the blouse of her body.
Keira blushed and tried to hide her now bare breasts that were in front of Zach’s eyes.
However, Zach leaned in and passionately kissed her as he gently pushed her hand away, replacing it with his own hand as he gently caressed them.
Keira moaned unconsciously when Zach’s lips left hers and trailed little kisses down her jawline to her neck, sucking, licking and biting while his hands were busy caressing her breasts.
"Keira... You’re driving me crazy," Zach murmured as his kisses went down and he took one of her now hard peaks into his mouth.
Keira bit her lip hard as she reveled in the burning sensations Zach’s was bringing her.
Her fingers brushed through Zach’s hair as she clutched them and felt Zach play with her mounds, alternatively sucking, licking and pinching them with his mouth and hand.
She could feel how his touches were sending a hot sensation down between her thighs. Zach’s manhood bumped onto her thigh, so she subconsciously moved and gently rubbed it that made Zach moan.
Then she shyly caressed the bulge in his pants. She heard another strangled moan.
"Keira, don’t do that or I’ll lose control," Zach whispered with a hoarse tone.
"But I want to..." said Keira. She was about to touch him once more when Zach stopped her and hugged her tightly instead.
"What’s wrong? Aren’t we going to do it?" Keira asked naively that made Zach laugh.
"What’s funny?!" Keira asked as she tried to get out of Zach’s tight embrace, but he did not let her.
"Shhh... stop moving. I’m trying to calm myself," said Zach.
Keira wanted to protest but she did not want to act like she was desperate to do it.
"It’s too early to get all the way through. I’m quite conservative on this kind of matter, Keira," stated Zach that made Keira crumple her face.
"But you are the one who started undressing me!" complained Keira while the latter laughed.
"Oh yeah, my star. It’s your General’s fault, so please, forgive me? I just couldn’t help it..." answered Zach.
’If you can’t help it, why not go all the way?’ Keira wanted to shout, but let out a long sigh instead.
