"Do you think Zach has seen her?" Torin burst out while he watched the primetime news that always started at 7:00 PM.
Lyra sighed as she was preparing their dinner.
"I’m not sure, but I still think that Big Bro should tell Keira about it. Goodness, what a coincidence!" commented Lyra who couldn’t believe that Thea still had the nerve to return.
"Why didn’t she just stay forever in another country! I can strongly feel that woman is planning something as she got that Main Anchor position. It’s not like it’s a better work than her current status as an international anchor!" Lyra irritatingly voiced out her opinion.
"Do you think Big Bro and Keira are together now? Maybe I should call him now?" said Lyra, who walked towards Torin and picked her mobile phone from the table in the living room.
"Good evening, Big Bro. Are you with Keira? Oh, okay good... Can you turn on your TV and watch the news." Lyra asked from the other end of the line.
Although a bit confused, Zach followed and turned on the television.
"I am hanging up, Lyra. Yes, I understand what you mean. I’m on it. Thank you." Said Zach before he ended up the call.
Zach stared at the screen. Thea was the new anchor for the Cooper’s broadcasting news where Keira was also the reporter.
He did not bother to tell Keira about Thea before because he thought that it wouldn’t matter to Keira since it’s already his past. He felt that telling that story was not worth their time.
However, they were now working in the same company. Lyra was right, he should tell Keira about Thea.
Now, that he looked at Thea on television, he felt relieved that she was doing okay, and became someone well-known.
"She has finally reached her dream," he murmured. He was sincerely happy for Thea.
Funny, huh? He felt like there were no more thorns in his heart...
He smiled because he was excited to pick up his girlfriend later...
His mobile phone beeped.
It was Keira who messaged him her current location.
Zach had previously received instructions to pass by the Field Marshal’s office first before leaving the Military Base.
"Oh, Zach, have you chosen the most trusted and capable men for this mission? You will go underground and will be disguised. Also, think of an alias, because the people of the underworld always use an alias. This is a great opportunity for us, so I hope you will work well with Ryu Ken and clean up those plaques." said Field Marshal in his serious tone.
"Yes, Sir. I understand. We are all prepared for it," answered Zach.
"Also, come to our house tomorrow morning with your team. I will introduce you to Ryu Ken," said Field Marshal Chan.
Zach’s mouth slightly twitched because he already knew Ryu Ken, as Keira had a blind date with him before.
"Yes, Sir..." He answered.
Field Marshal Chan dismissed him, but Zach remained there.
"Yes, Zach, what is it?" asked Field Marshal Chan seeing that Zach hadn’t left yet as if he still had something to say.
"Sir, I would like to say it to you first. After this task, I plan to retire early and focus on the ranch with my family. Also, I plan to settle down soon. Keira has strongly objected against my involvement in dangerous missions." said Zach that startled Field Marshal Chan.
"Ohh, but it’s so sudden. Alright, I understand you, Zach. Let’s talk about it further once your mission in bringing down this underworld group is completed," commented Field Marshal Chan.
Zach bid his farewell to Field Marshal Chan, who stared at his back as he left.
Keira had already interrogated him for giving her boyfriend a dangerous task.
"It will be the last task, don’t worry, daughter, because it seems that Zach wants to settle down soon." Field Marshal mumbled as he collected his stuff to leave and go home.
His wife would surely be happy to hear the news.
He laughed as he imagined her exaggerated wife-thinking about wedding bells ahead of time...
Well, if his interpretation was right, Zach’s words were leading that way.

This time Zach picked up Keira at the front of the building where there was an ongoing rally of protest.
A smirk passed his lips, seeing John and Jim, both positioned at spots from where they could quickly run to their Miss should anything happen.
He knew that the two were following them wherever they went, and he did not mind at all because it was for Keira’s protection. He wanted nothing but for Keira to be always safe.
He should think of a reward for these two bodyguards as well. An appreciation gift for taking care of his falling star, especially when he was not around.
Zach went out of the car as he waited for Keira to bid her farewell to her co-worker.
Zach smiled, seeing Keira run toward him, smiling.
"You look exhausted," he said as he hugged and kissed Keira on her head.
"Yeah, let’s go. I feel so dead tired that I want to jump on the bed as soon as we get home," answered Keira as she entered the door of the car opened by Zach for her.
This had been their routine. Zach was a perfect gentleman. He always insisted on opening the car door for Keira and securing her seatbelt.
"Where do you want to eat?" asked Zach as soon as started up the engine of the car.
There was no response, so he glanced at Keira and smiled.
"Hmm, my falling star has been knocked out," he whispered because Keira had already fallen asleep.
Zach decided to go for a drive-thru instead and let Keira sleep and rest more during their ride.
