Thirteen covered Nine’s mouth as he forcefully took the latter outside of the room, leaving Yun Shu alone.

After the quest completion, Yun Shu has been having a lot of mood swings lately. It wasn’t even the time of the month, but she already had such a grumbling mood swing and headache.

"His Majesty asked me to oversee the case, I came here. I didn’t expect to get such a warm welcome though." Yun Si could see how perfectly Yun Shu disguised herself. If it wasn’t for the familiar tone of mockery, he would’ve been mistaken for real.
Even wearing someone else’s face, Yun Shu exduded a strong aura that couldn’t be taken so simply.

"Did you refuse the invitation?" Yun Shu asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Yes, My Lord. But the Lady seemed angry, even if she tried to hide it. Hehe..." Nine smiled foolishly as he reported, the look on Lady Xia’s face was worth watching.
After the day they arrived, Lady Xia didn’t come to greet them, nor did she show any interest in them. But after spending the night at the Lord’s home, she started sending invitation for tea every day. And the fact that she invited Yun Shu alone was suspicious, after that it’s been three days of rejecting her invitations, it seems that she didn’t intend to give up easily either.
A wicked smile appeared in Yun Shu’s face, "Reject this one too, as usual."
All these constant rejection made her anxious, this much was understandable.
However, this is the perfect situation that Yun Shu has been preparing for diligently.
"Yes, My Lord." Nine bowed as he saw the wicked smile on Yun Shu’s face.

Bai Yunxian hugged Yun Shu tightly, he had no intention to let her go today.

The situation was getting hitted as the atmosphere seemed off, with a awkward situation prevailing.
"I’ll see you later, My Lord!" Nine bowed as he quickly run away, leaving the pair of seemingly quarreling husband and wife alone.
Today, now that he got a hold of Yun Shu, he must get an explanation from this man!
It’s been three days since that night, Bai Yunxian failed to see or step on Yun Shu’s shadow, he didn’t know why at first, so he thought maybe it’s because he was too busy.
However, it didn’t take long for him to realize that something was amiss, and that Yun Shu has been avoiding him.
After that, Bai Yunxian tried to catch him and ambush him at many times, but failed unfortunately.
Then his brother kept him busy with cultivating at night after forcing the Yellow Dragon Fruit down his throat. So he couldn’t go find her at night, nor did Yun Shu show up.
After a lot of trial and error, he finaly got a hold onto Yun Shu!
