The chilly voice sent shivers down his spine as he locked eyes with Yun Shu, who was currently pinned down by him, and kissed his palm.
"I...I..."
"Tell me what you want." Her voice that whispered in his ears was intoxicating, her breath brushing against his neck felt hot as a blazing flame.
There was an inexplicable emotion in her eyes that looked at Bai Yunxian, obsession and possessive desires that came up from the bottom of her heart, emotions that she always keeps in check.
She had a hunch that Bai Yunxian understood the reason behind her sudden actions that showed her intentions towards him bright and clear, but he intentionally avoided them under the guise of not understanding what her gestures meant.
"My Lord, you like me, right?! And, and you want me literally, more than this relation that we have!" Flustered, Bai Yunxian started to speak things that he didn’t mean to spit out, spouting nonsense that he would definitely regret later on.

A heavy silence came down within the dimlitted tent, when both of them were lost in each other’s eyes.
"Is that even a question you should ask me? Rather, why don’t you ask it to yourself?"
Bai Yunxian could feel the slight threat hidden in her voice, as well as the indication in her words. But he couldn’t utter a word that got caught in his throat and couldn’t come out.
’Should I really tell him... what I think? What do I want?’
The scent of jasmine lingering around Yun Shu became stronger as she went close to him, making Bai Yunxian feel dizzy.
Sigh...
I knew that he wouldn’t be able to answer me, why did I push him too much?
What if he becomes scared of me now?
Yun Shu sighed a deep breath as she shook her head, pressing him for a certain answer all of a sudden would startle him for sure. But it would be best if he were to think it over after she gave him such a strong impression.
"If you want my response, then I’m afraid you won’t be able to get out of the tent tomorrow morning, so for tonight, let’s get a sound sleep, shall we?"
Yun Shu grinned as she pulled Bai Yunxian to the side of the bed and tucked him in the blanket, then turned to the other side and let off all the lights, prepared to sleep.
Just as she was about to fall asleep, Yun Shu felt a tug on her clothes.

"I couldn’t give you a response right away, but..."
"If you give me some time, I can reply to you anytime, right?"
Bai Yunxian’s voice was small, as if full of guilt and shame.

Bai Yunxian peeked out of the blanket, but only the lonely back of the person lying beside him came into sight.
He called out after dawdling in hesitation for a bit, "Husband?"

"I... actually, I miss our home. It would be great if we can return... as soon as possible..."
The voice slowly died down, and the noise coming from behind also stopped. That’s when Yun Shu turned around to see the guy sleeping next to her, sound and peaceful.
"So, you want to return to ’our’ home? Yet you don’t give me a definite answer, little kitten?" She played with his hair with one of her hands while staring at his sleeping face, whispering sweetly as she fell in deep thought.
’If that is what you want, then so be it.’
I’ll fulfill all your wishes, I’ll bring back the spring of happiness for you.
Without asking for anything in return. Because all I want to see is the bright smile that shines like the sun.

The next morning,
Bai Yunxian opened his eyes and fell in awe.
No way, it wasn’t a dream! I’m really in the war zone right now!
The place next to him was empty, touching the side of the bed, he could tell it’s been quite some time since Yun Shu left.
Why is he running around all of a sudden? Wasn’t he supposed to be bedridden, fighting death in a coma?
Bai Yunxian didn’t quite understand what Yun Shu was thinking, but raising his eyes to look around, the clothes prepared for him were ready in the corner of the bed.
