Ning Meng Yao did not have the time to refute Yang Le Le's words as she grabbed the chopsticks and wolfed the food down. After eating half the quantity, she slowed down.
"Slow down, there's more." Mu Chen and the others watched Ning Meng Yao and their hearts ached. It was good that Qiao Tian Chang was attentive, if not, this girl would be so hungry with her front stuck to her back.
Ning Meng Yao blinked her eyes and swallowed down the food: "I'm hungry."
After bowing to the altar and Qiao Tian Chang lifted the kerchief, she wanted to tell him that she was hungry, but she was too embarrassed. Good thing that Yang Le Le and the others knew to send her food. If not, she might even faint from hunger in their new room.

When he lifted the kerchief, they saw the possessiveness and infatuation in his eyes when he looked at Ning Meng Yao.

Outside, Qiao Tian Chang wanted to return to the room and accompany Ning Meng Yao at first, who knew what Yu Feng and the others told Xiao Qi Tian and his group to not help him but went to pour wine. They looked like they wanted to get him so drunk he could not consummate during his marriage.
Qiao Tian Chang was angry. He showed his skill in drinking wine and drank with the rest of the men.
Shaking from left to right, Qiao Tian Chang's head was getting muddled.
"Stand there, don't go! Let's continue drinking."
Qiao Tian Chang was startled by the sudden voice and turned his head. It couldn't be that they were still not drunk, right? He could no longer drink any more.
But when he turned his head, he saw Yu Feng hugging the wine jug with his body resting on the table and snoring loudly after shouting with the last of his energy.
Seeing this, Qiao Tian Chang stopped worrying and he swung his drowsy head as he walked towards the newlywed room.
At the door, Qing Xue gave him a bowl of hangover soup: "Young Master, please drink this hangover soup."
Taking the bowl and drinking it all in one gulp, Qiao Tian Chang entered the room. He really did not want to drink wine with those bunch of guys anymore.
Ning Meng Yao heard the door opened and lifted her head. She saw Qiao Tian Chang walking in with his face flushed and a strong smell of wine all over his body.
"How much did you drink?" Ning Meng Yao immediately rushed to support him and let him lie down on the bed.
She was prepared to bring some water to wash his body, but when she was about to turn around, Qiao Tian Chang pulled her into his embrace.
Qiao Tian Chang looked at Ning Meng Yao without blinking. It was as if he was looking at a priceless treasure.
"We haven't drink the wine yet." Saying this, he rose from the bed and took the two glasses of wine. He put one in Ning Meng Yao's hand and the two crossed their hands before drinking the wine
"Hurry and wash up, the smell on your body stinks." That strong smell of wine, she did not know how much he drank.
Qiao Tian Chang hugged Ning Meng Yao: "Accompany me to take a bath later. For now, I don't need one." He carried her and walked to the side of the bed. He swept the things on the bed to the ground and then put Ning Meng Yao on the bed.
"Yao Yao."
"Yes?" Ning Meng Yao lifted her head and gazed at the face that was zoomed in with a slight furrow of the brow and the smell of alcohol at the tip of the nose.
She felt intoxicated by that smell.
Ning Meng Yao did not know when the clothes on her body was taken off. She only knew that when she realized it, the two of them were already bare on the bed.
Pain. This was the only thing Ning Meng Yao felt as she furrowed her brows. Her eyes filled with tears made Qiao Tian Chang's heart ache.
"It's alright." One kiss after another rained on Ning Meng Yao's face, attempting to make her forget the pain.
In the end, it became madly unbearable.
For the whole night, Qiao Tian Chang seemed to not know exhaustion. Even though he knew that she was tired, he still could not help himself. At dawn, he finally let go of Ning Meng Yao who was too exhausted to move and carried her to the bath. After taking a bath and switching the bed sheet, he put her down and hugged her as they fell asleep.
