Ning Meng Yao looked at Yang Zhu who in a short amount of time evoked the anger in the villagers with a face that carried a smile, her lips slightly curled up with a smile that did not look like a smile that was filled with ridicule.
Walking to Yang Zhu's side, Ning Meng Yao scanned the crowd below and smiled as she said: "Everyone here belongs to the same village. I also do not wish to make this into a big ruckus. Ning Meng Yao spoke a few things with Yang Zhu before she went back. When she left, she took a pouch containing white rice that was bought from Yang Zhu's house.
She had nothing to eat now at home. If she did not buy, then she would starve.
Coming back home, Ning Meng Yao steamed the white rice and took out her rabbit mince meat and mushroom paste then eat both of them.
After eating, she walked to the storeroom and put her grapes out. She washed a string and eat it. The grape was sour yet sweet, the taste was very good.
Seeing that it was still early after dinner, Ning Meng Yao went to rent a cart to go to the town. At the town, she bought ten jugs, rice, noodle, and vegetables then leave afterward.
It was quite dark when she arrived at home. She paid the cart and randomly eat something. Only then did she start making grape wine.
Seeing the grapes, she had one thing in her mind and that was grape wine. She still could make some grape paste but she did not like it much.
Thinking about the grape wine made Ning Meng Yao's eyes lit up.
After spending around two hours to process all the grapes, she thought in her heart that she had to continue going. Taking the chance that the grapes were still there, she wanted to make some more grape wine lest she did not have enough.
Lying on the bed, she thought and thought until she fell asleep. When she opened her eyes on the second day, the sky was bright. Once she finish washing up, she looked outside but there was nothing.
Ning Meng Yao coldly laughed. Since the culprit did not want this chance, then she won't be soft hearted.
She turned her body to the kitchen to make porridge and taking out the dishes she made. After eating, she leisurely walked toward the village.
