Lu Jia’er squeezed out a smile. Since she came out, she had noticed the absence of Jin Xiangdong. “Where is Ace?”
“He said he was going to the bathroom.” Jin Xianglan answered.
Lu Jia’er nodded. “Oh. I want to use the facilities as well.”
“I will show you the way.” Jin Xianglan proposed.
So, Lu Jia’er followed Jin Xianglan to the bathroom.
However, right when Lu Jia’er was about to step into the ladies’ room, the sirens went off.
As the sirens rang, Jin Xianglan was greatly shocked. She heard her cell phone ringing as well.
Jin Xianglan picked up her phone. “What is the matter?”
Jin Xianglan’s expression changed from shock to tension after she heard the answer. “What did you say?” Then, she said to Lu Jia’er, “Professor Lu, please go back with me directly to the lab afterwards.”
Lu Jia’er nodded. “Okay.”
