“I had a fight with my boyfriend!” Vice President Xiao responded while putting her hand on Guo Lin’s back.
Guo Lin pushed aside her hand again. The policemen gazed at them with some doubts. However, since everyone was fine, the policeman gave them some advice. “Squabbles are inevitable in life and quarrels are normal. Don’t attempt suicide. Don’t make your family worry!”
Vice President Xiao did not respond, just lowered her head and listened.
“Young people, you still have many days ahead of you. Live a good life and be tolerant of each other. Don’t disturb your neighbors because of a quarrel!” the policeman explained.
