"Go prepare some hot water and make the bed. I'll be sleeping here tonight," Qiao Xiaren ordered and reclined comfortably.
Zhang Lerong and the others didn't like it, but they were afraid of Qiao Xiaren's tactics. They hurriedly picked up the kettle from the ground to fetch water from outside. Xiaren closed her eyes and continued her siesta, hoping to regain her lost strength for the day.

A sudden cold sweat broke out on Qiao Xiaren's back. Moments ago, the man had his back to her without even turning his head. But now, he was right behind her.
The cool mountain breeze whistled through the rustling tree leaves.
Qiao Xiaren put her head down and ran like the wind without daring to look back. Not understanding what she was running from, she could only feel an extreme sense of danger from the man behind her.
