"I thought I made it clear that there's a training room in the basement, and if you wanted to test your spells, you should have gone straight there," Selene scolded as she materialized before Alec, delivering a firm knock to his head.
Selene hissed in frustration as she surveyed the damage once more, Alec, on the other hand, was still reeling from the encounter, Selene had appeared before him with such speed it was almost like instant teleportation.
Even as he noticed her hand moving toward his head, he was unable to dodge or block it, he could only watch as she knocked some sense into him.
Despite the chastisement, Alec had reasons to be pleased.

Even while he was not inside the Amulet World, the level 2 tree branch would just send its harvest directly into his space ring, this was how he acquired the first batch of ten Tier 4 pills that he had distribute among his teammates, providing a power boost to each of them.
Alec understood that he couldn't simply present Tier 5 cultivation pills to absorb to his team, as those who were previously in the Tier 3 mage realm might have overwhelmed their bodies by taking in more energy than they could handle.
It was akin to forcing a tremendous amount of water into a small glass, ultimately leading to the glass breaking under the water pressure.
However, now that they had all advanced to the Mid Rank stages, Alec believed it was only a matter of time before they could handle the Tier 5 cultivation pills.
But for the time being, he planned to allocate most of the pills to Lucas Blade.
Alec saw potential in Lucas, as he seemed to have the highest chance of entering the Tier 5 Mage Realm before the others, additionally, Lucas had already reached the peak of the Tier 4 Mage realm, meaning his body could accommodate the energy of the Tier 5 cultivation pill, and even if there was any excess energy, it wouldn't cause his body to explode.
To avoid spending a significant amount of system points on harvesting all twenty leaves from the level 2 branch, Alec used his mind to instruct the system, as he paid for just one of the leaves (20,000 system points), which had absorbed a Tier 4 shadow wolf corpse.
This allowed him to obtain another batch of 10 Tier 4 cultivation pills to share with his team an other things, in this way, they would be able to continue cultivating after absorbing the residual energy from the previous pills they had collected.
Cause unlike Alec, who had the system to digest the pills quicker and transformed them into experience points for him, they had to absorb the pure Mana energy contained within the pills slowly.

"How were you able to get those pills?, cause I know for a fact that you are no alchemist," Selene inquired, her curiosity getting the better of her.
Alec swiftly and politely replied,
"How can you be so sure I'm not an alchemist? Besides, I had these pills already, i was just waiting for the right time and person to give them to."
Still, Selene continued to stare at him intently.
She understood that every exceptional mage held their own secrets, guarded with their lives, so if Alec was unwilling to share, she wouldn't push further, for now, she was just glad to see him using the pills to support the team when the academy couldn't.
"Whatever, just make sure that the next time you want to try a spell, you do it at the training room in the basement, otherwise, I'll let you drown for five straight minutes , and don't worry about the walls; someone will come to fix them," Selene firmly instructed.
Cheekily, Selene added, "By the way, can you give me Tier 6 pills? It seems like you're now a rooster shooting pills left and right." She tried to appeal with puppy dog eyes, but Alec's body trembled with fear at the mention of Tier 6 pills.
In the second level of the Beast Forest, Alec still couldn't kill a Tier 5 demonic beast, at best, he could only engage in brief skirmishes with them before making a swift escape.
If he were unfortunate enough to encounter one with a pack, like the Shadow Wolf Alpha, he would face death head-on without any hope of escape.

Maintaining a harmonious relationship with Selene was paramount for Alec, the last thing he desired was to jeopardize the trust and support she had placed in him.
