Dorian didn’t want to take any chances, and that was why after eliminating Lucas, he turned his attention to the next person in the War God Academy team that he believed could truly his chances of victory over Alec when they clash, and that person just happens to be Beatrice Marionette.
Feeling the intensity of Dorian’s gaze, she felt a wave of dread wash over her and quickly decided to cast a defensive spell as Mana threads swirled around him,
Both her wooden spider puppet and even the crocodile moved in front of her instinctively in an aim to shield her.
However, her efforts appeared to be mere child’s play in Dorian’s eyes.
He thrust his left hand forward, and despite the distance between them, he surprised the audience by launching a punch that unleashed a long dark chain materializing from his hand, and flying directly toward Beatrice.

The dark chains, glowing with eerie green light, zipped through the air at breakneck speed.
The crocodile, sensing its master’s danger, instinctively lunged forward, trying to intercept the attack.
Yet, the rotating chains slipped effortlessly around both the crocodile and the spider-shaped wooden puppets body, as it continued heading straight for Beatrice.
Even her mana-thread defense was shredded upon contact with the chains, which coiled around her body, ensnaring her completely.
“Ahhh, now I’ve had it!” Alec exclaimed, dashing forward.
However, ahead of him were Pale, Arthur, Brandon, and Endrick, who were closer to Dorian and seemed poised to reach him first, as they were all aiming to attack at once.
Pests are so annoying, let me deal with all of you so I can finally have that one-on-one duel with your captain in peace,” Dorian said, his voice dripping with contempt for the rest of the War God Academy team.
He used both hands to retract his longsword from the ground.
As he raised the sword into the air, it glowed with black light, with green runes beginning to appear along the blade.

With that, Dorian struck his sword down toward the location where Arthur, Brandon Pale and Endrick were converging.
The ground cracked upon impact as black spikes erupted from the earth, rushing forward until they reached the War God Academy last set of Tier 5 mages.
The spikes shot up as they neared the group, Arthur crossed his arms defensively as golden Gauntlet materialized and covered his fist, while Brandon assumed a protective stance, swinging his saber to intercept the attack.
Pale focused his mana, encasing himself in a powerful ice armor, as he even pumped more mana in it just to enhance his defenses.
Meanwhile, Endrick manipulated the bushes around him, summoning massive vines to rise and create a makeshift barrier.
Though it was common knowledge that the plant element wasn’t the best defensive option, but Endrick looked really determined to avoid instant defeat.
However, despite their preparations and the confidence they had in withstanding at least one attack, their resolve crumbled in an instant when Dorian’s strike landed.
The spikes pierced through their defenses, and the blinding flash of white light that had been brewing in the skies finally fell down and enveloped them, taking them out of the battlefield one by one.
All that remained in close proximity is Alec, the bound Beatrice, while the rest of the War God Academy team, who had not yet entered the Tier 5 Mage Realm had moved to the back of the tunnel entrance they had emerged from, they were only following Alec’s command when he said they couldn’t spectate from there.
But right now they were feeling really good.
Alec sent them back, after seeing how easily those stronger than them were being eliminated.

Dorian declared, pointing his hands toward Alec, who had finally closed the distance and was preparing to strike.
In that moment, a massive gravitational force slammed down on Alec, forcing him straight into the ground.
And due to being unprepared for such an attack and moving at such high speed, the impact felt like a cataclysmic fall.
“Just stay there and watch as I take care of every member of your team before your eyes, you have to feel the same level of humiliation I felt too”
“So don’t even think about trying to escape under that pressure; I’m not done with you yet,” Dorian taunted as he began walking toward Agnes.
He raised his hand aloft, conjuring another dark spear adorned with the eerie green runes appearing on it.
“Fuck!” Alec cursed as he finally broke free from the shackles of the spell, but it was already too late.
As Dorian had already hurled the dark spear toward Beatrice, who remained bound by the Overlord shackles.
The dark spear soared toward Beatrice, and despite the crocodile puppet’s desperate attempt to intercede, jumping in front of the spear to protect its master, its body was no match for the sheer force of the attack.
As the spear burst through the crocodile, continuing on its deadly path.
As it struck Beatrice, the spear pierced through her, killing her instantly, as another flash of light rained down, sweeping her away from the battlefield too.
The crowd that had come to support the War God Academy team fell completely silent, while Onyx Academy fans erupted into a frenzy, chanting and stomping their feet, creating a thunderous rhythm that echoed throughout the arena.
Fortunately, the Royal Grand Arena was designed to absorb such strong shockwaves, containing even the noise and preventing any external or internal damage to the structure of the Arena.
“This is total domination!” one fan shouted.
Titan tightened his grip on his ice mace but remained still, just like the other golems.
Alec had mentally commanded them not to move or interfere in the imminent fight.
Alec’s body flashed with dark tattoos as his red Salamander spirit set armor materialized around him.
His gaze sharpened, and a palpable aura of bloodlust emanated from him, almost becoming tangible behind him.
“You see now it’s fair; as I’ve eliminated all the distractions.
Now let’s have that duel you proposed!” Dorian said, as he began to walk toward Alec, before pulling his long sword and dragging it along the ground.
