And what followed was an intense match that captivated everyone watching, but in the end, Brandon emerged victorious, becoming Alec’s Tier 5 sub-leader.
For the Tier 4 mages, there was no competition at all as Alec directly appointed Kelvin as their leader, as for the low rank, Alec allowed them to determine their own strongest representatives, who would then report to him as the corresponding Tier leaders.
With the leadership structure in place, everyone eagerly awaited Alec’s next move, he had already shaken things up by assuming command of all the battle-ready mages, a concept bold enough to surprise them.

However, Alec wasn’t in a rush to implement tactics, with two weeks left before the blood moon war, his immediate priority was taking stock of his forces, he assigned Agnes to conduct a headcount to confirm the numbers.

I have big plans for you all, but I’m saving the best for last,” Alec said, addressing Gabriel.
Gabriel quickly understood Alec’s message and led the other four Tier 6 mages deeper into the forest to train.
Alec’s ultimate goal was to create an unmatched synergy between all the mages, to achieve that, they needed to train together for days, practicing until their attacks flowed seamlessly into each other, forming devastating combo strikes.
However, the Tier 6 group was too small to integrate effectively into this broader training regimen, instead, Alec planned to assess each of them individually to determine the best way to utilize their strengths.
Turning to Brandon, Alec gave his next command.
“Tier 5 mages, I want you all to focus on three spells, Earthquake, Earth Spear, and Stone Skin.
Master them to perfection.”
Many of the Tier 5 mages exchanged confused glances, wondering why Alec was assigning them such basic spells.
But those familiar with Alec’s training methods, especially Brandon who was the Tier 5 sub leader knew better, Alec never trained for the sake of training; he had a purpose behind everything.
Brandon understood exactly what Alec expected, which was why Alec didn’t bother explaining himself further to the mages present, as soon as Alec handed over control, Brandon prepared to put the Tier 5 mages through an exhausting drill.
As they would cast the same spells repeatedly until their mana pools were completely drained, recover, and then start all over again, just as Alec had once trained him and Arthur.
With their orders clear, Brandon wasted no time, as he led the Tier 5 mages to a large clearing to begin training, with Agnes, Knight, and even Arthur tagging along.
Despite finding it amusing that they were now under Brandon’s command, they understood the necessity, after all, they were all Gordon clan Tier 5 mages set to fight in the Blood Moon War.
