The Greece Antagonist Chapter 637

Chapter 637: Chapter 97: Still Pretending to Be Innocent? Chapter 637: Chapter 97: Still Pretending to Be Innocent? Deep within War God Mountain, the flickering glow cast a shadow of the elongated figure leisurely stretching after a hearty battle.

A crisp snapping sound echoed, followed by a waft of chilly wind pouring into the cave. A beauteous goddess wrapped in chains on a stone pillar shivered and abruptly awoke from her stupor, looking around in confusion.

“Have you awakened, Master?”

The silhouette from the darkness stepped closer, his face beaming with a warm and radiant smile, as affable as one greeting a long-lost family member.

But as Hecate recalled the events just before she lost consciousness, and felt the aches spread across her body, she couldn’t help but shiver and silently curse through clenched teeth.

All you know is to ride roughshod over your mentor! After I raised you with all this care, just wait until you fall into my hands, and see how I’ll deal with you!

As Hecate inwardly grumbled and heaped silent scorn on a certain presumptuous disciple, she twisted her body, trying to find a more comfortable position for her punishment.

However, the more she struggled, the tighter her bonds felt.

Gradually, Hecate found herself completely immobilized, her limbs stretched out by the chilling magic chains and securely fastened to a cross-shaped inscribed stone pillar to prevent her from using witchcraft to escape. Several black leather straps, inscribed with Hermes Script, crossed over her sleek abdomen, separating her legs and securing her lower body.

The contrast of her snow-white skin, the pitch-black cold chains, the glossy leather, and the crucifixion frame with religious overtones combined to create a strikingly provocative sight in the dim cave, inciting a rush of adrenaline in the onlooker.

“Master, if you move again, I won’t be polite.”

Luo En pinched his nose, warning in a stuffy voice.

Hecate stiffened, quickly becoming docile as her legs unconsciously trembled slightly.

The chief culprit noticed his master’s small movement, a pleased smile appearing on his lips. He quickly invoked his divine power, loosening the magic chains slightly and moved a stone stool beneath Hecate, helping her sit while feigning concern.

“You exhausted yourself last night; I promise I’ll be gentler next time.”

Hecate glared at her arrogant disciple, who was superficially comforting her while slyly mocking. She glanced toward his lower body and retorted,

“You sought me out for more than just this two-inch fancy, didn’t you?”

Two inches? The very thing that left you unable to stand?

Are you only tough-talking now?

Luo En glanced at Hecate’s dewy lips and chose not to continue arguing on that topic. Instead, he pulled over a stone stool and sat down, smiling candidly as he spoke.

“As expected, nothing gets past you. Indeed, I have three matters I wish to discuss with you.”

As he spoke, Luo En took out a jar of ointment from a Magic Circle Diagram and gently applied it to various reddened and bruised areas on Hecate’s skin, his movements skilled and tender.

The cool, soothing sensation of the ointment combined with his fingers’ kneading eased into her sore limbs. Hecate’s rigid body relaxed against the crucifix, her previously tensed expression softening to reveal a hint of relief as she spoke languidly.

“Is this about the Battle with the Giants?”

Luo En clapped his hands, exclaiming in praise.

“See, what did I tell you? Your wisdom truly knows no equal!”

“Stop that nonsense!”

Hecate gave her disciple a disdainful side-eye and snorted coldly.

“You never bother with me unless there’s trouble, and now you remember me? Why should I help you?”

“Injustice, I say! I’m fighting for our shared venture!”

Luo En protested, explaining his struggles.

“Typhon and Kronos have been released, and Zeus is holed up in Olympus, ready to watch the battle from the sidelines. If I don’t find a way to stabilize the situation, all we’ve achieved in the Mortal World will end up for naught. Not to mention, bringing down The Three Fates and even Zeus will become a trivial task for us.”

“It’s your problem, not mine,” Hecate corrected nonchalantly, not taking the bait.

“Uh-huh, maybe Zeus and The Three Fates aren’t after me, but what about the Old Gods?”

Luo En nodded, his smile turning meaningful.

“If those confined in Tartarus knew you were at War God Mountain, your fate wouldn’t look too good, would it?”

Hecate’s gaze sharpened, her expression eased.

“Tell me, what trouble have you run into?”

Seeing Hecate’s willingness to cooperate, Luo En’s smile became a touch more sincere.

Immediately, he outlined the progress of the Battle with the Giants and some plans for the second War God Mountain alliance, earnestly seeking advice from his master.

“Persuading The Three Fates to intervene is a tricky issue. Do you have any suggestions?”

Hecate pondered for a moment, then shook her head slightly.

“The order of the Celestial Realm, the survival of mankind – which is more important, The Three Fates must weigh themselves; moreover, the Battle with the Giants is a trial ordained by the gods. Whether they are willing to intervene is difficult to say. So, I agree with you, convincing them has, at best, a fifty percent chance, if not less. After all, humanity has perished many times over – their life and death may not be so vital in the river of Fate.”

Luo En felt a sinking feeling in his heart but still pressed on, unwilling to give up.

“Is there really no other way?”

“For now, we can only hope that the weight of destiny you’ve amassed can outweigh the ‘Heavenly Destiny’ carried by His Majesty the King of Gods…”
