The Greece Antagonist Chapter 655

Chapter 655: Chapter 106: Teammates Must Die!_3 Chapter 655: Chapter 106: Teammates Must Die!_3 Spellcasters had a deadpan expression, grumbling incessantly in their hearts.

Hera’s temper exploded as her face darkened, unable to hold back her scolding.

“Are you here to amuse us? Get to the front!”

“No need, right? I’m not the type for assault, it’s better for me to stay back and protect my cousin-in-law and teacher~”

Jason firmly wedged himself between King Thessaly Admetos and his teacher Chiron, blithely ignoring the disdainful looks from those around him.

Cainis was furious, itching to drag this shameless coward out.

Meanwhile, Hercules, who had cleared the passage, came from one side, calming the enraged Cainis:

“Let it be, let him stay here. We’re short on time; we must find the path to the core of the Underground Palace without further delay.”

He then stepped forward, patted his shoulder, and smiled approvingly:

“Well done just now!”

“Me?” Jason pointed to his nose, visibly flattered.

Hercules nodded and explained in a serious tone:

“Yes, those giants and Magic Beasts in the hallway had old wounds, appearing to be the ones we chased from aboveground to below.”

Jason pondered briefly, then his face lit up with realization.

“So, that passage might very likely lead to the core, or at least it shouldn’t be a dead end!”

Hercules nodded again, handing back the Bronze Short Sword he had recovered during the cleanup and earnestly advised:

“Take good care of them, and ensure your own safety.”

Jason nodded reflexively, then watched Hercules, who like a flag, led the team into the passage with admiration welling up in his eyes.

Compared to these naturally powerful Divine Blood Heroes, his lack of natural talent and ability made him seem like a mangy dog amongst lions, strikingly out of place.

Did he really deserve to participate in this expedition? Did he really have the right to fight alongside his idols?

Jason tightened his grip on the bloodstained Bronze Short Sword, feeling a surge of shame.

However, Hercules, evidently too occupied to notice his little fan’s turmoil, cautiously advanced in the dim corridor, alerting his teammates behind him.

“Stay close, and don’t let your guard down!”

The well-trained Argo Heroes quietly lowered their voices and leveled their breathing, following the trail of fresh and old damage marks, carefully advancing towards the light ahead.

Meanwhile, Queen of Acadia Atalanta and Prince of Calydon, skilled in tracking and with extensive hunting experience, walked behind Hercules, covering each other, coordinating their actions.

The Spartan twins, Telamon, and Cainis, wielding Sword and Shield and Spear, led the close-combat Divine Blood Heroes, guarding all corners.

In the inner circle, Medea, Helen, and other Spellcasters held magic wands, providing their teammates with dual protection of Curses and Divine Arts, enhancing their crisis response capabilities.

Furthermore, Spellcasters were also ready to amplify their teammates’ physical abilities, speed, and strength with rapid Divine Word in case of emergencies.

In the most crucial area, the Medicine God and Chiron were in charge—they, one possessing life-reviving medicinal skills, the other with extensive combat experience, could stabilize the situation should Hercules need to step away.

Because the giants and magic beasts were both large creatures, the underground lair they were in was quite large despite its rough exterior, with both astonishing height and width.

For example, the corridor that the Argo heroes were groping along was spacious enough for more than ten people to walk side by side.

Finally, after about seven or eight minutes of walking, a slightly glowing white entrance appeared ahead.

Hercules felt a surge of excitement in his heart and immediately jumped into the glowing entrance, ready to explore.

However, the moment his figure entered the light, gray-white patterns rippled like water, and the entrance gradually shrank and even began to blur.

The centaur sage noticed a familiar divine aura above and his expression changed slightly.

It was Kronos’ Space Authority! The entire underground lair had been divided by him!

As a son of Kronos who was quite familiar with this power, Chiron realized that his father god seemed to have left other traps around the Titan Temple to prevent outsiders from discerning and destroying his lair, and he immediately made a decision.

“Follow him, don’t let Hercules be alone!”

Before departing, Dionysus and Heavenly Queen Hera had made a request, hoping he would take good care of Hercules since he might be the key to victory in this expedition.

If necessary, they could sacrifice everyone…

And at this moment, the heroes had already rushed one by one into the shrinking light curtain to meet up with Hercules.

As they passed through the light curtain, it seemed like they could hear the shifting of rocks in the depths, and the entire underground world seemed to spin as if they were entering another space.

Once the world in front of them returned to normal, they found themselves in a stone forest.

Several magic beasts flew in like cannonballs, either becoming meat hanging on the pillars or smashing into the pillars, their limbs covered in scales and fur flying around, and dark red blood mixed with pink flesh splattered everywhere, filling the air with a strong smell of blood.

They looked in the direction of the sound and saw Hercules standing amid ruins, besieged by two Hydra, three white Chimera, and four Sphinx.

At the same time, a continuous stream of magic beasts and giants emerged from the milky white light gates around them, attacking Hercules.

Chiron immediately drew his bow and helped out, directing the gathered Argo heroes loudly.

Cursed bullets, light arrows, and spears rained down on the magic beasts and giants that swarmed from every entrance, causing a large amount of blood and flesh to scatter, momentarily slowing the enemy’s momentum.

Surrounded, Hercules felt the pressure lessen and immediately swung his Nameless Axe Sword, smashing a white Chimera into pieces, then decisively moved to regroup with the main forces.

Just as everyone was also pushing forward, dozens of golden red whirlwinds of magic power swept through, rotting everything in their path.

The warriors like Cainis at the front raised their shields, barely holding off the blasting force, their faces paling as they staggered back.

However, in the moment a gap appeared in their defense, Medea and Helen synchronously stepped forward, waving their magic wands, and a series of purple-red magic arrays converged, diffusing dense magic beams toward weak spots like the corners and pillars.

In the midst of flickering cold lights, there emerged a figure with the body of a man and the tail of a snake, a brooding giant.
