The Greece Antagonist Chapter 744

Chapter 744: Chapter 146: This Taste of Scum is Very Pure Chapter 744: Chapter 146: This Taste of Scum is Very Pure The next morning, the gates of Troy opened once more.

The handsome young Prince Paris, draped in leopard skin, with a bow and arrows on his back, a sharp sword at his waist, and two spears in hand, led a group of Trojan soldiers onto the battlefield, declaring his challenge to the bravest hero among the Greek Alliance.

As expected, Diana came out fully armed from the Alliance’s camp.

“Try to hold him off for a quarter of an hour. However, there’s likely a deity’s will residing in that boy, don’t be careless!”

Upon hearing the admonition from her father Luo En in her head, Diana subtly nodded without leaving a trace, then contemptuously crooked her finger at Paris.

“So you’re the pretty boy who stole Agamemnon’s wife? Your looks might be an improvement over that old man Agamemnon, but stealing people and surprise attacks aren’t very admirable traits. It was you who stabbed me from behind yesterday, wasn’t it? Come on, let’s go a round!”

Hearing the taunting and loaded jeers, not only did Paris’s complexion turn dark, but Agamemnon’s expression also looked as if he had swallowed a dead fly.

Meanwhile, Luo En found himself caught between laughter and tears watching his daughter who could deal critical verbal blows at the drop of a hat.

I told you to draw aggro, not to rack up rage points for the enemy. If you get beaten to tears later, I, as the parent, will have to personally enter the fray. Aren’t you just digging a hole for your father?

As Luo En was inwardly lamenting, Paris, whose expression had gradually turned icy, decisively made his move, thrusting his two javelins with the force of thunderbolts.

Diana, sensing the formidable divine power within them, did not dare to underestimate the attack. Using her sword and shield together, she blocked the incoming javelins from both sides and found an opening to counterattack.

Watching the two blurs of light colliding at high speed on the field, Luo En gradually began to relax.

Although the will of a deity resided in Paris, it was unfortunate that his own foundation was too weak to sustain much divine power.

Furthermore, the prince had spent most of his talent and time on women, hardly ever touching training or weapons. Thus, his physical fitness and combat skills were equally lacking.

Due to a combination of factors, the pretty boy with high software specs but low hardware couldn’t take down Diana, who was decked out in divine armor and well-developed in every aspect.

However, as time went on, Luo En gradually felt that the patience in “Paris” was slowly fading, and the divine power within him skyrocketed.

Even though doing so would cause permanent mental and physical damage to the host body afterward, the will residing in Paris obviously wasn’t kind enough to care about the durability of expendable material.

After several exchanges, Diana, seeing significant cracks in her divine shield and sensing the steadily increasing divine power of her opponent, couldn’t help but grow tense. She decisively abandoned her head-on tactic and, using her golden wings to move at super-high speeds, maneuvered around.

For a moment, the situation once again reached a stalemate.

Luo En, estimating time, prepared to intervene or even take down Paris with a single blow if necessary.

Although the Troy Princess had agreed to join forces, out of caution, he couldn’t put all his eggs in one basket.

Meanwhile, inside Troy.

Cassandra, dressed in priestly robes and holding a magic wand, walked into the Great Temple.

A few elderly priests, seeing this, couldn’t help but show surprise:

“Her Royal Highness the Princess, why are you not on guard duty in the camp? What brings you here?”

“Hector, my brother, has not yet awakened, and I wish to pray for his wellbeing,” Cassandra replied with a heavy voice and then glanced at the few priests on duty, her brow furrowing as she added.

“Prayer requires absolute quiet, you should leave, do not impede me here.”

The priests looked at Cassandra, hesitation written on their faces.

Though communication with the deities indeed necessitated a somewhat tranquil environment, the Princess was a priestess of the Temple of Apollo, not of this Guardian Temple. Expelling the priests who served here seemed somewhat overstepping.

Observing their hesitation, Cassandra’s expression turned cold:

“What? Do I not have the right to use this temple? Or is my brother Hector’s life and death of no concern to you?”

“No, no, we just have our obligations,” the Temple Priests hastily responded with hands raised.

“Fine. If the prayer fails, or if my brother suffers in any way because of you, I’ll have you all buried with him!”

After saying this with a stern face, Cassandra turned on her heel toward the door.

Seeing this, the Temple Priests hurriedly stepped forward to hold her back, pleading with grimaces.

“Please, Your Royal Highness, we’ll leave the temple immediately!”

With that, the priests obediently withdrew from the Great Temple, making sure to close the doors behind them.

They had no choice; the responsibility was too great for them to bear.

As the bystanders gradually left, Cassandra took a deep breath and slowly approached the statue of the Guardian God.

Though she did not know what the consequences of her actions would be, if she did nothing, Troy was doomed to fall in disaster.

Considering one way led to certain death, she might as well trust the God of Wine who visited her the night before and gamble on behalf of Troy and herself!

With that thought, Cassandra steeled herself, and without hesitation, she took out the purple curved blade hidden within the Magic Circle Diagram and stabbed it into the chest of the Guardian God statue with lightning speed.

In an instant, the statue on the altar emitted a crisp crack, and the originally sunny sky was suddenly covered with dark clouds. Rumbles of thunder laced with boundless fury rolled through the clouds, like countless silver swords, all pointing sharply towards the Great Temple in the center of Troy.
