The Greece Antagonist Chapter 746

Chapter 746: Chapter 147: Sister-in-law, you wouldn’t want your daughter to be bullied, right? Chapter 746: Chapter 147: Sister-in-law, you wouldn’t want your daughter to be bullied, right? As night fell, the bright moonlight spilled onto the streets, reflecting the cold metallic gleam of the swords, shields, and armor plates held by patrolling soldiers, filling the deadly quiet city of Troy with a sense of oppressive foreboding, like a storm brewing over the horizon.

Another figure took advantage of the cover of darkness and arrived at the Troy Palace, where security was exceptionally tight.

“Well, you acted swiftly. It seems you have taken control of the situation with ease. Your command over the military is indeed unquestionable,”

Hearing the voice from beyond the door, which was unclear whether it was sarcasm or praise, Hector, who was waiting inside the great hall, darkened in expression and scoffed:

“Thanks to your blessing, I had to take some coercive actions against my own family.”

Luo En entered the door, glanced around, and smiled indifferently.

“Come on, there’s not even a spot of blood or damage here; don’t make it sound as if you’ve slaughtered your whole family. I venture the old king gave up willingly, right? He cherishes his life, but he’s not foolish. Troy could manage without anyone but you, its garrison commander. He had no choice but to cede power and let you handle it.”

Hector nodded, looking helplessly at the Shepherd of the Temporal World who had come to visit:

“You are as wise as the legends say. So, what does Troy need to do? Open the gates and surrender immediately, and hand over my sibling?”

Here, Hector referred to the Queen of Mycenae, who had been lured by his brother Paris, as “sibling,” with a clear intention to protect her.

Clearly, compared to his scoundrel of a brother, he still had some semblance of humanity.

At that moment, Luo En shook his head and began solemnly:

“No! You don’t need to surrender; instead, you must accelerate your war preparations!”

“Is it because— the Divine War is coming?”

Upon hearing Hector’s thoughtful response, Luo En looked at the Troy’s Guardian in slight surprise:

“You actually guessed it.”

Hector replied gravely, his brown eyes deepening.

“It’s been almost three hundred years since the rebellion at Olympus; if things have not ended yet, what must come, will come.”

He paused, his expression turning bitter:

“I just didn’t expect that Troy would be the first to be dragged into it.”

“There’s no choice, the gods have vanished, leaving just these few Divine Blood Heroes for His Majesty the King of Gods to fixate on.”

Luo En spread his hands and mockingly gazed at Mount Olympus, shrouded among the stars.

Hector caught the implied meaning and his face shifted slightly.

“You mean, He wants us all to die in this war?”

“What else? You can’t honestly believe that His Majesty the King of Gods is so idle that he wants to help you fend off the Greek Alliance, can you?”

Luo En casually retorted, then sneered as he uncovered the harsh truth.

“Frankly, both Troy and Mycenae are merely the fuse to ignite the powder keg. Once enough Greek heroes and elite soldiers gather here, He plans to blow you all sky high, ensuring the Divine Bloodlines on earth are severed, no longer posing the slightest threat to Olympus. That is His Majesty the King of Gods’ true intention!”

The facts were indeed as such; in the end, the Trojan War had no real victor.

Not only did both sides’ elite soldiers and Divine Blood Heroes suffer heavy casualties, but the city-states also drastically weakened after the war, leading to no good outcomes.

Troy was destroyed by the war, Mycenae crumbled, Sparta declined amid excessive military exploits…

On the other hand, Athens, which had remained behind the scenes throughout the conflict, rose to become the greatest beneficiary of the war.

Nevertheless, Hector was still somewhat skeptical of Luo En’s words:

“We are merely mortals, even if we bear Divine Blood, how could that make us worthy of His Majesty the King of Gods’ annihilation?”

“His principle has always been better to kill mistakenly than to let one go.”

“Even without Troy, without Mycenae, there are hundreds, thousands of Divine Blood Heroes in the world. Can He really kill them all?”

“Have you heard of the ‘Magic Box’?”

Luo En asked with a playful smile, his voice lowering.

“Its master is currently in the Mycenae camp. What do you think would happen if enough blood and souls were sacrificed?”

Hector gasped sharply, his complexion growing extremely unsightly.

He indeed knew of the infamous Pandora’s Box—if it were activated, not just the scattered Divine Blood Heroes across the city-states, but perhaps the entire human race would face extinction!

“So, we are all sacrifices to open the Magic Box?”

“To His Majesty, that’s probably all the value you have.”

Luo En chuckled, his eyes gleaming with irony.

His Divine King father had always been , wanting to devour humanity yet always pretentiously maintaining a façade of dignity, unwilling to dirty his own hands.

At that moment, realizing the true crisis at hand, Hector no longer hesitated and respectfully laid his cards on the table to the Shepherd of the Temporal World:

“I have already dispatched troops to seal off the damaged Great Temple and have taken control of the priests who were stationed there. What do you plan to do next?”

“Nothing unusual in the city?”

“Nothing! Since the Guardian God statue was destroyed, the aura that was hovering over Troy has disappeared. There have been no other incidents.”

Luo En nodded and then spoke earnestly:

“Now that Zeus’s nail embedded in Troy has been removed, I want you to establish an altar on the original foundation as quickly as possible to worship the deities of War God Mountain—the sooner, the better. Because I am about to handle that hidden danger in the Mycenae camp, too.”
