Sheng Yize’s smile widened.
“Dummy!” He pushed An Xiaxia’s little paw away and caressed her red cheek. “If you really want me to behave myself, sleep in another bed.”
An Xiaxia wrapped herself more tightly in the duvet and gave Sheng Yize an alarmed look.
“Don’t worry, I’m not an animal. I won’t sleep with a minor…” Sheng Yize sighed. “But, I think I’ve discovered a secret…”
The little woman might like him more than she thought she did.
She had no precautions whatsoever against him.

Putting some clothes on her, Sheng Yize climbed out of bed while An Xiaxia pressed, “What secret? Tell me!”
“No, I won’t.” After a casual reply, he went into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and let the cold water run down.
He never thought he would one day give himself a cold shower to keep his mind off his girlfriend.
Sheng Yize almost wanted to say a prayer for himself.

When he came out of the bathroom, An Xiaxia had fallen asleep with a pillow in her arms.
Outside, the fireworks flickered and a light snow fell. Sheng Yize stood for a moment by the window. He turned to look over his shoulder and saw An Xiaxia’s sweet sleeping face. He smiled.
“Fried chicken… my fried chicken…” An Xiaxia smacked her lips and chuckled in her sleep.
Sheng Yize shook his head and adjusted her posture. He then lay down beside her and pulled her into his arms.
The skin behind his ears turned pink when he recalled what he had done moments ago.
He had kept her underwear on… but he could tell that the girl had quite a nice body…
As for what he had felt with his hands… ahem… it was quite nice, too…

The night passed without incident.
An Xiaxia sat up in bed with her eyes half-closed. She rubbed them as she savored the sweet dream from last night.
The whole night, she had dreamt about fried chicken; golden, crispy chicken flying in the sky, swimming in the river, and running all over the place…

“What are you giggling about?” A deep, mellow voice brought her back to reality.
Turning her head, An Xiaxia felt her cheeks burn right away. She shrieked. “You – you – you… I – I – I…”

He was naked from the waist up and she could see his six-pack and his beautiful Apollo’s belt. He then calmly put on a shirt and buttoned it up. His face said, “It’s nothing you haven’t seen already.”
An Xiaxia calmed down at that look.
Hmph, he was the naked one, so she had nothing to lose in this!
Sheng Yize didn’t know what An Xiaxia was thinking. After finishing with the buttons, he began to put on a tie.
It was none other than the one An Xiaxia had given him yesterday.
He thought An Xiaxia would be happy to see this, but the look on her face switched to one of utter grievance.
Um… What was going on here? Did she want to put it on for him?
Sheng Yize pondered the question for two seconds, went up to her, and bent down. “Xiaxia, would you help me with my tie?”
An Xiaxia looked even more aggrieved and even pursed her lips.
As she clumsily put the tie on for him with her fair hands, the look on her face grew sadder…

“I remembered my dream last night…” An Xiaxia sniffled. “Sheng Yize, do you have any idea how much fried chicken this tie is worth?”
