An Xiaxia: … Had she chosen the wrong words?
She hurried off in a flurry, and not knowing where she was going, she rushed into the bedroom.
By the time she realized what room she had entered and wanted to back out, Sheng Yize was leaning lazily on the doorframe. Raising an eyebrow, he said, “Why, you’ve stopped running.”
An Xiaxia bit her lip and threw a pillow at him. “You bad man!”
“Bad?” Sheng Yize caught the pillow easily, then rubbed his chin. “Have I mentioned that the two of us are the only residents here?”
“So what?”
Such a little fool… Sheng Yize sighed inwardly as he approached, speaking in a frivolous tone. “So it means, whatever I do next, you can scream at the top of your lungs and no one will come to save you.”
An Xiaxia bought it right away and stammered, “Wh- what are you doing…”
Sheng Yize snorted and pressed forward. An Xiaxia fell back, tripped on the edge of the bed, and dropped on it with a thump.
It was dark in the bedroom, and the only light shone in from the living room through the half-closed door, giving the room a mysterious and suggestive feel.
Sheng Yize pinned her down on the bed and teased her as if he was playing with a cat. The little woman’s cheeks turned scarlet red right away. He then reached into her clothes and caressed her waist with his big hand.
An Xiaxia was quite ticklish and his touch made her twitch. She pleaded, “No, don’t… It tickles…”
He chuckled and his hand stopped. Instead, he bent down and nibbled at her delicate collarbones, leaving behind a few hickeys while he was at it.
An unsatisfied man could be an animal. Moreover, Sheng Yize had always restrained himself and never actually crossed the line. Unfortunately, the little woman was hopelessly oblivious in this respect, and Sheng Yize felt he might end up eating her whole one day.
Their bodies tangled together and they rolled around on the bed. An Xiaxia’s eyes had gone blank. Her fear of Sheng Yize had faded and she began to react to his touch.
She held onto the front of his clothes with red-rimmed eyes, making the perfect picture of an aggrieved little wife.
Sheng Yize whispered in her ear, “What’s wrong?”
He thought he had pushed it too far tonight.
An Xiaxia seemed to have made up her mind and said in a tiny voice, “If you really want to… I won’t mind…”
For a moment, she felt lost.
The memories were so painful. She wanted to run away, but couldn’t.
She vaguely felt that nothing mattered, as long as she could get away from reality…
“Xiaxia!” Sheng Yize interrupted her ridiculous thoughts. “You’re saying silly things again!”
Ashamed, she buried her face in her hands. Sheng Yize sighed. “I would mind even if you don’t… I was only teasing you. I can’t bring myself to do anything to an ignorant girl like you.”
An Xiaxia felt all the more humiliated at those words!
Why did he make it sound like she was the insatiable one?! Aah!
Sheng Yize let go of her and the little woman rolled around in bed on her own, burying herself in the duvet.
He smiled. Although he ended up taking a cold shower anyway, his mood was significantly lifted.
When he came out of the bathroom, the little woman had fallen asleep. He lifted a corner of the duvet, lay down beside her, and kissed her on the forehead.
“What exactly did you remember? Why won’t you tell me?” he murmured.
His phone then vibrated. He didn’t want to wake An Xiaxia, so he quietly went to pick it up on the balcony.
“What? What’s she doing in Sunset Town…? Alright… I see…”
