Luo Qianxi looked pissed. She glared at Su Xiaomo, then an idea dawned on her. She took out her phone.
“Hello, Jiayu~” she said in a coy voice. “Let’s have dinner together tonight~”
Su Xiaomo took a sip from her glass. Despite her calm face, An Xiaxia saw that she had clenched her fists.
An Xiaxia said a silent prayer for that stupid Luo Qianxi before moving her chair a little further from the edge, so that she wouldn’t get injured accidentally if Su Xiaomo snapped in a moment.
Luo Qianxi went on in her cloying voice, “I don’t care! Dinner or not, you’re getting me that female lead role in that movie… Why not? Don’t you know a lot of people in showbiz? And that Chi Yuanfeng, aren’t you close to him? Talk to him and let him arrange it for me.”

Luo Qianxi stumbled back instinctively. She happened to be standing on the edge of some stairs in her high heels and lost her balance when she stepped back. She fell to the ground right away.

Luo Qianxi had climbed her way up the ladder over the years from an extra to a minor starlet. Thanks to her sister that had sacrificed her life for He Jiayu, Luo Qianxi was able to get a lot of resources from him.
Instead of feeling contented, she thought she deserved every bit of his help. Her requests had only grown more outrageous.
Luo Qianxi scrambled to her feet and her assistant rushed to her side. “Sister Xi, are you alright? Were you hurt?”
“I’m fine. Go back to work. I have some catching up to do with my friends here.” Luo Qianxi smiled gracefully. The assistant gave her a concerned look, but still moved aside as told.
Luo Qianxi said in a harsh tone, “That’s all you can do now. He Jiayu has slept with you so many times that I bet you can’t live without him now! Su Xiaomo, you’re just a used rag! Your pride is worthless!”
“I see you’ve learned to talk now!” Su Xiaomo smacked her lips. She then grabbed Luo Qianxi by her hair and smashed her head on the table twice.
Su Xiaomo never spared her strength. Luo Qianxi’s forehead went red and she burst into tears.
Cornered, she shoved at Su Xiaomo, who was caught off-guard and knocked into the corner of the table. It slowed her down right away.
Such a bump was nothing on any normal day, but somehow, the pain was excruciating now.
Su Xiaomo broke into a cold sweat and she felt something sticky slide out of her body. She had a bad feeling about it and said to An Xiaxia with quivering lips, “Xiaxia, call 120.”
An Xiaxia realized something was wrong as soon as she saw her face. She took out her phone immediately, but Luo Qianxi snatched it out of her hand.
“Not feeling well? She had it coming~”
“Give it back!”
“No!” Luo Qianxi gloated. She was over the moon when she saw how much pain Su Xiaomo was in.
An Xiaxia practically had little flames rising out of her head. Infuriated, she slapped Luo Qianxi. “Give it back! Now!”
Luo Qianxi was baffled and An Xiaxia slapped her again, bellowing, “Give it back or you’ll be in much more pain then she is!”
An Xiaxia’s motto: Mess with her? Fine. Her family and friends were off limits!
Su Xiaomo’s legs gave out and she collapsed to the ground…
