Looking at the green mountains and rivers before her eyes, with trees providing a pleasant shade, the small cascading waterfalls flowing down from distant mountains, and the ‘fairy peaks’ hovering in mid-air. This unfamiliar environment left Lin Caisang wide-eyed and stunned.
“Is this… the Jinzhu Space?”
The space she had seen before was nothing jaunt-like, dollhouse space from which she couldn’t even escape, and this almost self-contained ‘realm’ before her eyes, were two completely different concepts.
A world apart, Heaven and Earth!
“Did I go to the wrong place? Or… am I dreaming?”
She reached out, couldn’t help but pinch her own face, and immediately cried out in pain. Only then did she clearly realize that this was not a dream, but reality!
How did it change so suddenly? When she entered this afternoon, it was not fairyland-like environment! How did it change just in the blink of an eye? How was it changed?
She looked around herself – left, right, front and back – and was surprised to see a huge jade stone, like a mirror, standing not far away.
The jade was as tall as two people and even wider. Its surface was smooth and flawless, reflecting Lin Caisang’s image clearly. The only imperfection was that the reflection was quite plump, which made her mood plummet!
She stepped forward and stretched out her hand to touch the jade. Surprisingly, her hand penetrated the jade surface, causing ripples to spread out wherever her plump hand could touch.
The next moment, Lin Caisang turned her head to the right and saw a jade shelf of the same overall white colour. On it were stacks of thick books.
The volumes that were made up not of modern paper, but thin slices of jade linked together, making them look very thick and tall.
She picked up the jade book on the top, opened it and took a look, then secretly exhaled a sigh of relief.
“Fortunately, they are not some illegible words; otherwise, it would recognize me, and I would not understand it.”
Shrugging, she giggled, intending to find a stool and read the jade book at her leisure, but saw a milky-white jade stool had appeared on her side.
Having experienced the jade mirror that could not be touched, she first tested it and confirmed it was a solid object before sitting down.
After a long time, she rubbed her nose bridge and closed her stinging eyes.
She finally understood that the reason the Jinzhu Space transformed into its current state was not because she planted a tree in the realm, but because she saved a person outside of it.
This Jinzhu Space was the Lin Family’s treasure, whilst the Lin Family was known to the world for its medical skills.
So, the Jinzhu Space was also related to medicine and could only be genuinely activated when the holder of the Jinzhu Space got recognition for their medical skills.
In saving Ya Molian, she hadn’t completely detoxified him, but she did relieve his pain, which made her act as a physician. Hence, the Jinzhu Space truly activated.
And, when she finally read the Jinzhu command, she realized that the ‘fairy peaks’, the green mountains and rivers, and the fairy fog-wrapped land, were not things she could use at present.
She would have to rely on her medical skills to heal the sick and save lives to unseal the places she couldn’t reach.
And curing the sick and saving lives wasn’t about just saving any random person, or curing their disease; everything depended on the jade mirror next to her.
