"These maids, they all lack proper names. If we acquire more people, we can fill up our ranks." Standing in an open area, watching laborers digging ditches in the distance, Ya Molian spoke to Lin Caisang.
"And what about these people?"
Lin Caisang furrowed her brow, questioned him.
It couldn’t be like she said -- truly have all these people slain, right?
These are human lives we’re talking about, and according to these people, the nanny, who wants to exploit them from behind the scenes, hasn’t entirely gained control over them yet.

She paused mid-sentence, thinking that these people, in her hands, were indeed hot potatoes. Only by sending them into the bead space could they disappear completely.
Only if they all disappear, those behind them won’t give her any trouble.
As she said this, she went to a secluded place and entered the bead space. Not long after, she returned from the bead space and went back to Ya Molian’s side.
"Being a ranch slave is out of the question. They need to be like Ziyou, completely unresistant and willing." She spoke to Ya Molian.
"Let Zhe Jue take them away." Ya Molian said directly.
He initially suggested having these people serve as ranch slaves like Ziyou so to lighten Sang’er’s burden. But since that’s not feasible, he might as well have Zhe Jue take them away. His faction can accommodate a few more women.
As long as nobody tracing them can find any clues, it should be fine.
"That’s not necessary."
Lin Caisang shook her head and pursed her red lips.
"Being ranch slaves might not work, but we still need medicinal slaves in the herb garden. They can handle the herbs in the future, but..."
If she let these people into the herb space, she would need to find a place for them to sleep because, in there... all wooden items would be taken as nutrients for the plants. It would all be a waste in the end.

Iron beds? The blacksmith would probably think she’s an idiot. Whose bed is made of iron?
"Why are you staring at me like that?"
Lin Caisang felt awkward under his gaze and glared back at him.
"I’m serious. Last time I wanted to cut down a few bamboo to make a rack for rearing silkworms, ended up with all the chopped bamboos turning into nutrients for the herbs, after a wasted afternoon. Wooden items just don’t work, and what could I possibly do about that?"
