She patted her chest, declaring so.
Yun Mo and Yun Xiang complied respectfully.
One immediately took Ya Yuju into a room he already knew of. The other, in a swift move, picked up Ya Yulan by her collar and left.
As Chief of the Ya Clan, he watched his beloved granddaughter being taken away helplessly, the desire to die surging within him. But he couldn’t think of, nor did he dare to come up with any solutions. Trembling, he looked at the old woman.
"Clan Chief Ya, there’s one more thing." The old woman spoke up again.
Clan Chief Ya secretly swallowed his own saliva.
He had already sacrificed his grandchildren. What else could he not agree to?
The old woman waved to someone behind her, and Chief Ya saw an old man, similar in age to him, step forward. The sharp look on his face was enough to make him lower his gaze immediately.
"Clan Chief Ya, this old man is the godfather of Yun Mo and Yun Xiang. He’s up there in years, and now that his godchildren are getting married, he can’t be left alone, right? The old woman broke into a smile upon hearing his agreement.
