Sui Ziyou, relieved of his doubts, nodded and began to eat heartily.
As expected, the steward of the National Teacher’s estate soon arrived. Even though his face was sullen, his demeanor towards Lin Caisang was respectful. He bowed and bobbed, pleading for Lin Caisang to come to the National Teacher’s mansion to save someone.
"Young lady, our servants made mistakes earlier, please be generous, and not equate yourself with them. The National Teacher has invited you to the estate to talk, can you come..."
Lin Caisang glanced lightly at the steward, and after her retort, continued to eat her meal, completely disregarding each and every one of them.
The steward was choked by her words, utterly at loss about what to do next.
Wiping the cold sweat from his forehead and thinking about his master rolling in agony at the estate, he knew he had to persuade the two young ladies to return with him, else, his own head would be at stake.
He had no choice but to speak.
"Miss, can you please agree, my master can’t even get out of bed now..."
"Isn’t that perfect? He can just die alongside his son."
Lin Caisang picked up on his words and scoffed vehemently.
"Well...miss, my master is after all the incumbent National Teacher. You...miss, you came to cure my young master, didn’t you? I am here to take you to the estate, would you please come with me."
What could the steward do? He was completely at a loss when dealing with this young lady.
Others would quake in their boots at having invoked the National Teacher’s wrath and lose their ability to speak, yet she dared to poison the National Teacher and talk to him so defiantly.
"Miss, you have poisoned the National Teacher...and yet, you haven’t fled Shaohua City. You must be waiting for someone from the National Teacher’s estate to find you. So why..."
This young lady poisoned the National Teacher, but rather than fleeing, she stayed in Shaohua City’s largest tavern. It seemed as if she was not at all apprehensive about the National Teacher. Such a person must be a formidable figure.
But now that he was here to call on her, why was she still hesitating?
An unwelcome thought crept up in his mind, and contemplating the possibility left him feeling unwell.
"Since you’ve guessed it, then get lost," Lin Caisang once again lifted her eyes, glancing at the steward.
The steward shivered, drenched in cold sweat.
Indeed, he had guessed right. This girl wanted their master to personally invite her.

Without waiting for the steward to finish speaking, Lin Caisang loudly called to the waiter, who was standing some distance away.
