"You witless fool, can’t you see who you’re dealing with? It’s just a few taels of silver, do you really think my Master, the National Teacher, can’t afford it? Servant, pay him!"

The waiter hurriedly apologised, but still accepted the silver that the butler took from a servant’s hand.

Having paid the silver, the butler ushered Lin Caisang away.

She, accompanied by her black panther, was arranged to stay in one of the courtyards by the butler. However, she bluntly rejected it.
"Miss, what do you... mean by this?" The butler asked her, a troubled look on his face.
Did the two young ladies not want to stay? Or did they have their own preferences? As long as they could heal the young master’s illness, he was willing to accommodate them in any way.
"My sister and I are not staying." Lin Caisang bluntly told the butler.
Why should they stay? Even though her family was understanding and allowed her to visit Qianlin County to take care of the shop, there was still someone incapacitated in Jianan City. She had to take that into consideration as well.
Moreover, comparing the National Teacher’s Manor and the person in Jianan City, she was more concerned about the latter.
The butler’s face turned even more troubled.
"Miss, are you planning to stay at an inn in the city?" He cautiously asked.
That wouldn’t do, staying at an inn couldn’t be as convenient as residing in the National Teacher’s Manor, could it?
"Who said I’m staying at an inn? Can’t I just go home and sleep?" Lin Caisang rolled her eyes at him.
"Enough talk, where’s the patient? Take me to him now so I can examine the illness...ahem ahem!"
She coughed heavily twice, swallowing the word ’die’ on the tip of her tongue.
"Yes, I will take you to him right away."
The butler didn’t dare say anything more and simply took Lin Caisang and Sui Ziyou to meet his young master.
Just as they entered a splendid courtyard, before they had even seen anyone, Lin Caisang heard the sound of something heavy being thrown and crashing onto the ground, followed by the crying of the servants.
And the butler who had guided her in was startled by it.
"Butler, what’s going on?" Even though she had an idea of what was happening, she still asked the butler.
"Miss, don’t panic, it’s probably my young master having another episode, it will settle down shortly." The butler gave an awkward smile and explained.
His young master was truly hard to deal with. Any slight discomfort would result in him throwing a tantrum or blaming the servants. Now that his illness had flared up, he was bound to go to extremes.

"Miss, please wait here for a moment, and I will be back shortly." The butler said and was about to go in to see Suri.
But just as he took a few steps, Sui Ziyou stopped him.
