"So, what now?"
"Gwen, why do you always ask that when things come to a conclusion?" Kai wondered, kicking the Wolf’s body to the side.
She shrugged. "I don’t know. I just like to know what’s going to happen next, I guess."
Amaya leaped onto Gwen’s back, then jumped off it to land on the second floor. "Let’s look for valuables!"
"I like that idea." Kai jumped up to the second floor.
Gwen rolled her eyes. "Why do you two always try to steal stuff?"
"Hey! We’re not stealing, we’re just relocating assets that don’t have an owner anymore."
"Yeah!" Amaya agreed. "What he said."
"See, Amaya understands what I’m talking about. Now get your ass up here. I hope we find an artifact or something. Let’s go treasure hunting!"

"Kyana? How the hell are you here?" A man asked as he stood up from his chair, papers falling off the desk.
"Bob, you fucking bastard! I was hoping to see your ugly face here!" Kyana wasted no time and attacked Bob. She took out her dagger and sliced at the man.
Just in time, he created a force field around himself, stopping Kyana from killing him.
"You should have stayed a slave!" He shouted, pointing his wand at his forcefield and firing a mana blast.
"And you need to die!" She dodged the mana blast and notched an arrow, shooting it directly into his shoulder as the arrow was powered up by a spirit, and it shattered the force field.
"Argh!" Bob used Blink, a short-distance teleportation spell that sent him out of the room and into the hall. He started running for his life to warn the others.
’Shit! How the fuck is she back? I have to tell Billy and Blenda!’ Right before he made it to the lift, an arrow lodged itself into his thigh, and he was dragged backward.
"Arggghhh!!"
"Where the fuck do you think you’re going?!" Kyana came down with her dagger, stabbing at Bob’s face.
He rolled out of the way and stuck his hand out.
"Burst!" A large explosion went off in the corridor. "Ha, take that bit-nnghhh!"
Kyana appeared out of the smoke, her hand around Bob’s neck as he struggled to break free. She kicked him in the balls, slammed him into metal bars, then stabbed him in the stomach.
"That’s for selling me into slavery, you piece of shit!"
"Agrhhahahahahaha! Y-You think you won? Hekekekeke! The boss will kill you once she learns that you’re back! You’re fucking dead, Kyana! You hear me? Dead!"
Then, out of nowhere, the ceiling collapsed close to Kyana, and three people stepped out of the dust.
"Yo, Kyana. You finished? We just got done killing that Wolf chick and took all the valuables from her place. Also, this entire fort is on fire. Like, everything is coming down! It was Gwen’s fault." Kai pointed at her.
"It was NOT my fault, you big dick bastard! You’re the one who burned the first building down!"
"And you were the one who turned that fire into a tornado and let it twist around the entire place!"
She scoffed. "Well, Amaya added wind magic to it!"
"Hey?! Why are you bringing me into this?"
Bob couldn’t believe what he was hearing. The boss whom he had full confidence in was now dead? That had to have been impossible. He thought he was hearing things.
"Impossible! The boss is a Tier-7 mage! She wouldn’t fall to losers like you!" Bob shouted in disbelief.
Just as he shouted that, two people came running into the basement.
"Bob! Bob! We need to go! The entire fort is on fire!"
Kyana turned to see Billy and Blenda, her former teammates, alongside Bob.
"K-Kyana?" Blenda stuttered, backing away slowly.
"How the hell are you here?!" Billy pulled out his sword, ready to strike her down.
"Looks like the gang’s all here." I’ll take pleasure in killing you.
"Don’t think you’ll be able to take us down easily, you slave bitch!" Blenda took out her wand and chanted a spell.
Kyana, however, was faster. She stabbed Bob in the chest, killing him instantly. She then ran toward the other two, her speed increased by her wind spirit. In one swift motion, she slit Blenda’s throat, circled around to stab Billy in the back, threw her dagger into Blenda’s head, then finished off Billy by blasting a hole in his back using wind magic.
"I know I’ve been saying that a lot, but DAMN! That was brutal!" Kai said as he looked at Kyana, her hands shaking from having a weight lifted off her shoulder.
"I’m free." She smiled. "I did it. I got my revenge! I FINALLY GOT MY-"
"Yeah, that’s nice and all, but it’s really time to go." Kai interrupted her. "This place is coming down."
"Oh, my bad."
Sasha and Nadya walked out with their hands full of documents and the keys to unlock the cells. Kai quickly placed all of the documents in his inventory, tossed the keys aside, and then used telekinesis to pry open all of the cell doors.
After that, he connected everyone to his mana and teleported out of the place, arriving back in Vaudrille.
Kai brushed the dirt and dust off his body. "Well, that was a nice mini-adventure. I thought it would be a lot more eventful, but this was still pretty fun."
"What were you expecting?" Sasha asked.
"I don’t know, to be honest. More explosions and magic! The fun stuff. Well, beggars can’t be choosers. I guess you can choose to beg. So choosers can be beggars. Does that even make any sense?" He asked.
"Absolutely!" Amaya nodded.
"Great!"
The other four looked at them like idiots.
After showing the authorities all the documents and the falsely enslaved people, they took matters seriously and commenced a super raid on the illegal slave traders all over the capital.
After that, Kai and his Party returned to the guild, turned in the quest, got their reward, and headed back home.
"Ahhh, man. I love my bed." Kai fell flat on his face on his comfortable, fluffy bed. Although he didn’t get tired, his body still craved comfort, and it always felt nice to rest his bones.
Suddenly, he heard a knock on his door.
"Come in." He answered.
Kyana walked in wearing white lingerie and a blushing face.
