The restaurant they went to was a high-end one that served nobles every day. Many people in the place wore luxurious outfits, fancy jewelry, and had a shit ton of money to spend.
They were directed by a waiter to a table that sat all seven of them. It was a large booth that was in the shape of a U with the table in the middle. On the table was the menu and the prices for every meal the restaurant served.
’These prices are fucking wild! 5 gold for a fucking appetizer? Scam!’ Kai almost left the place since he felt insulted. Then, he remembered that this place was meant for people who had money. They wouldn’t be bothered by the price, and he’s richer than all of them.
"Order whatever you want. It’s on me." He smiled.
"Duh."
"Obviously."
"What? You expected us to pay?"
’I feel like I’m being taken advantage of.’ Kai cried silently in his corner.
Everyone ordered and didn’t hold back. Once their food came, they all had a feast.
While Sasha was eating a piece of meat with her hands, she started talking, pointing the meat at Kai. "So, once school starts, we won’t be seeing each other as much, right? We’ll have different classes if I’m not mistaken."
"Hey, Sasha! Table manners. We should at least look sophisticated." Kyana nudged her.
Sasha didn’t respond, only pointing around the restaurant to different dwarves who ate the same way as her.
"Ah, it’s just a dwarf thing, my bad."
"Yeah. We probably wont see each other as much. We can join the same club, though. I think this will be a fun experience!" Kai responded, scarfing down his food.
"I wonder how many fights I’ll get into!" Amaya grinned.
"Really?" Gwen plucked her head. "You know you’ll be expelled if you get into fights, right?"
"Aw, really?"
"Don’t worry, you can formally challenge anyone to a duel and beat them up that way." Kai looked forward to seeing Amaya crack some skulls, so he made sure to tell her the ’legal’ way to do so.
"Yes!"
"What’s the plan after the Academy? I mean, we obviously can’t stay there forever, right?" Kyana asked.
"You’re absolutely correct. I plan on having fun at the academy for a bit. After that, I want to fight the demon king!" Kai held his chicken leg in the air like a sword.
"T-The demon king? Are you sure?" Nadya wondered. She wasn’t too keen on that idea.
"Yeah, don’t worry. It will be a breeze." He waved her off.
"If Kai says it’s gonna be a breeze, then just trust him. I learned to do that after he saved me from an Alpha Rabbit." Vanessa still dreamt about that moment.
’Ugh, the alpha rabbit. Bad memories.’ He shivered.
"Anyway, during this time, we also have to get revenge for Nadya, and I have to go to Qasyran City for the nuns." He finished
"You mean for the goddess." Gwen corrected him.
"No, I mean for the nuns. Why the fuck would I care about Gracia? I care about the nuns. That orgy is gonna be insane!"
"He only thinks with his dick." Sasha shook her head.
Vanessa purred, rubbing Kai’s arm. "When he’s that hot, you cant blame him."
’My number one cheerleader. Love you, Vanessa.’ He leaned in to give her a kiss on the lips.
Kyana swallowed her food. "So, the schedule is, have fun at the academy, have fun at Qasyran, get revenge for Nadya, kill the demon king, and....Am I missing something?"
"Yup, wait until my children are born. After that, we’ll leave." He said.
"Leave? Where will we go?"
"To other continents, of course! We’re going on a big ass adventure! We’re going to go to every continent in the world, slay monsters, have fun, go sightseeing, and best of all, kill the demon kings! I already know where we’re going next as well!"
Kai was so excited that he could barely contain himself.
"Yessss! I’ve always wanted to travel to other continents!"
"Me too!"
Amaya and Gwen were excited and couldn’t wait to travel.
"I wanna have your babies!" Vanessa blurted out.
"That’s cool. You’ll be staying here then. You can live in the mansion. There is also a subspace in the basement that leads to my two other houses. One is located in Ashenfall and the other is in Hearthwood."
Vanessa nodded with a smile.
They all continued to chat and eat when Kai spotted someone in the corner of his eye trying to make a reservation.
"Is that Allen?" He blurted out.
"Ugh, not him." Vanessa rolled her eyes.
"Hmm? Did someone call my name?" Allen looked around, seeing if someone had called him. Then, he spotted someone familiar.
"K-Kai?" He asked, walking over. He didn’t even notice Vanessa sitting close by.
"Haha, Allen, what are you doing here?"
"O-Oh, I’m trying to make a reservation for me and Vanessa. I’ve always wanted to take her here. The prices are really high, though. I’m saving up for it. I also tried to take her out last night, but she didn’t show up."
"Is that so?" Kai nodded
"Ohh, I totally forgot about that."
Allen turned to the person who said that to find an extremely beautiful woman sitting down next to another extremely beautiful woman. It took him a bit, but he finally managed to recognize her.
"V-Vanessa? What are you doing here?"
"Kai took me out. He happened to be in town and came to get me after school let out. I went back to his place and we had sex. I completely forgot about your little date."
Allen’s heart was shattered, but he knew there was nothing that could be done. Seeing Vanessa all dressed up for a date with Kai and learning that she was making love with him sent Allen over the edge.
Still, with Kai’s hypnosis in place, he couldn’t act on his anger or aggression, so, instead, his mind defaulted to Allen trying to regain his honor.
’Maybe if I show Kai that I’m not a loser, he would allow me to be with Vanessa!’ He thought to himself.
"K-Kai, I challenge you to a duel!"
